Those who had no patience to hold for a few months have to take responsibility for their own ficklness.

This co.'s stock price has factored in more than 50% of its future improved performances, if any. Production has declined a little compared to earlier qtrs, while rival WTK has seen a nearly FOUR-FOLD increase in profit from CPO[ in tandem with a nearly 5-fold increase in CPO production] & a 50% increase from new food cold-storage segment accompanied by a near-halving of losses from timber. If 4383 is to report a very good qtr to come, so should WTK. With their prices almost equal in early 2016 & with one now 150% higher than the other, it's becoming clear which stock has the greater upside! In fact, the recent flurry of bullishness is conceivably due to insiders who know of a possible excellent quarter to be reported in a month's time buying ahead of the news.

This stock is now full of shady promoters & notorious blowers like pang who already bought from $1.10 up & are hoping for y'all to jump in to allow them to gradually UNLOAD...be like Warren Buffett & go where the crowd isn't, in CPO laggards like WTK & UMcca for better returns with LESS RISK! Those who bought from me near the peak when I SOLD from 1.46 to 1.51 are still nursing big losses!

1st conservative tgt is implied in my previous comment, more in line with rival JTiasa's rise in the last 2 years...

Bought more BAT below $8.18 this morning to average down my long-term holding cost, which is now below the 1998 bottom. Almost $11k in dividend already paid for my patience & another nearly $1k coming this Nov!

I bought back half of the YTL I last SOLD @ $3.46 for $2.01 this morning for the dividend & because I sense a possible medium-term bottom in the works. Also because the Fibronacci tgt of 1.81 failed to be reached, for now!

Hard to believe I escaped without a loss shortly after the overpriced IPO: bought 88c, sold 94c...one of the rare exits near the very peak!

At least I don't feel so bad about selling OFF my last shares in CIMB, held since Aug 2013, for $8.14 last month!

Still melting downwards...keep it up till 60c pls! 🤗

I bought a little for the 1st time this morning since selling all in 2022...but...The MOST UNDERVALUED plantation co. now is WTK, NOT TSH! And calvin, pls don't take any credit for my U-turn because I'm solely basing my entry on the CPO trend...

Based on my 30-year veteranship & watching markets for most of my life, I can foresee the 50c barrier being busted through on the upside, especially since the co's CPO production is more than FIVE TIMES more than just 2 years ago.

Our Singaporean friend promoted NETX at 2 sen per share, highlighting to everyone that it was cheap as it was going to 20 sen per share. Recalled he was so convicted, he sold 8 houses to buy into NETX. Not only did NETX not grow, it got decimated ?90%.

Our Singaporean friend does not seem to learn his mistakes, repeating these frequently. Thank you for allowing us to observe and learn from his mistakes.

The memory is usually short when it comes to speculative waves. Old victims of calvin slink away cursing his name & new, inexperienced, credulous fools come to replace them.

Providing useful info is one thing, but ceaselessly highlighting/exaggerating bullish factors while concealing pitfalls is crossing the line into shameless promotion for one's own gain. BTW, I haven't bought in reliance on another's advice since 2007 which has kept me in the black for 16 consecutive years since 2009!

Re-purchased PohKong after selling my last shares in 2022. Gold has broken out of a modified bullish wedge on the monthly chart.

Added more PohKong @ 1.15

Was hoping they would only announce after the 26th as in previous years so that I could accumulate as low as possible the shares I mistakenly sold in the Aug panic. However, I managed to corral back 87% of that peak holding in the last few days from $1.08-1.13 [ PLUS an additional 8,000 in the margin a/c] plus the few hundred profit from the Aug sale is in the pocket already so it's all good! 😊

Furthermore, it makes no sense to me how a co. whose shares flew up to $2.26 in Aug '20 can stay @ these low levels when the book value is already $1.12 higher compared to back then...

I'm neither a lawyer nor a corporate M&A expert but doesn't the latest announcement imply that SBagan already owns all of Kuchai's former assets except its cash pile & its Semenyih land while the latter already owns 26.7 mil of the former's shares?

Disappointing dividend of 8c...less than 1.4% yield. My original stake already > DOUBLED so I'll hang on to as many shares as possible while awaiting my stake in Kuchai to give me more! Kuchai itself stands to receive $2.14 mil cash.

Considering both the 20c dividend AND the upcoming SBagan dividend in specie, the yield is an astounding 69.3% @ the current price of $2.16!

Lelong LELONG! By 11 Dec the price will almost surely be above $2.35!

Former Singapore oil mogul OK Lim to pay liquidators, HSBC $4.6 billion

(Bloomberg) — Singapore’s High Court approved former oil tycoon Lim Oon Kuin’s agreements to pay about US$3.59 billion (S$4.6 billion) to the liquidators of his company and creditor HSBC Holdings Plc, ending the multi-year civil cases against him and his family.

The Lims didn’t admit liability. They will pay the sum with interest and costs in the consent judgments agreed in court proceedings on Monday. OK Lim and his children Evan Lim Chee Meng and Lim Huey Ching will file for bankruptcy, they said in separate statements.

“For all of the civil suits that have been made against me, while I continue to deny the claims, I do not wish to take up any more of the court’s time and resources,” said Lim, 82. “I do not have enough assets to pay all of them and will therefore be applying for bankruptcy.”
