It's sad to note that LGE is not fit to be the Finance Minister. Too arrogant. Any good work done by the government has been undone by his mouth.

seriously, 3iii...since investlah forum until here (10 years and counting) i have seen u preaching non-stop on buying high quality stocks day in day out. there are many many ways to invest ur capital. just because u have found one that suits your style and has been successful..doesn't mean everyone has to follow suit. if everyone just buy ur DLady, Nestle, PetDag, PBB...
i can safely say our capital market can close shop d. to all the business entrepreneurs, don't bother getting funding from the public. unless ur business is of high quality in the same league as DLady or Nestle, u won't have any interested private investors.

Basing on a "well-respected" guru:
Why I will also sell?
I will also sell as soon as I see the company report less or reduce profit for 2 consecutive quarters. You must bear in mind that many company’s product or services are seasonal. I will not simply sell, when I see the company reported reduced profit for 1 quarter because its product or services may be seasonal.
I will also sell any of my holdings if I found a share with a better profit growth prospect than any stock among my holdings.
What is my target price for FLBHD?
Its annual EPS = 27.48 sen. Even if I based on P/E 10 which is very safe, my target price is Rm 2.75.

i used to own PCHEM many years ago when it was just listed. bought at 5.50 and sold it few years later. pchem has since grown stronger and stronger. to be honest, have not been following them closely maybe it's worthwhile to revisit again. the only thing is currently i have exposures to lctitan.

Valuation wise, LCTitan is cheap. But bear in mind, they should trade at a discount to PChem due to PChem's feedstock cost advantage. LC feedstock is primarily naphta based vs. PChem gas based (which they secured from Petronas). Last quarter we can see the significant impact of mismatch between naphta feedstock cost against selling price. If you have a longer term view, the margin risk should gradually subside once the US ethane cracker starts commercial operation as LC would be able to diversify their feedstock structure from naptha based to cheaper US shale gas.

Analysts prediction quite consistent.
Maybank estimates at least RM200mil net profit.
Public Bank estimates RM200-RM260mil net profit.
Insider Asia estimation - US60-70mil net profit in first 5 years (RM240-280mil). Lower subsequently due to tax impact. Tax is exempted for first 5 years.
