probability, I am a busy person and I am not paid to blog here. u want a thorough analysis? get it from someone else.
my focus is to get it right on the megatrend (rather than giving full through analysis... and yet losing money)

ytlpower is a dividend stock, buy for dividend, but don't expect price to move much

yktay, my view is general view. you still need to do your own homework as not all export counters are the same. some better one doesn't depend solely on USD

yuefei, 45% plantation and 55% milling means the Company is half plantation half miller. Refer your original statement "KMLOONG is just a palm oil miller and not planter" which is definitely misleading

ytlpower is a dividend stock. if you buy the warrant you are NOT entitled to the dividend

Instead of buying direct beneficiary e.g. plantation company that produces CPO, you suggest cbip ...
2016-03-15 08:30 | Report Abuse
yuefei, according to Page 8 of KMLOONG 3QFY16 result report, Plantation division contributed RM39.7m while Milling division contributed RM48.6m (these are EBIT figures). In percentage, Plantation is 45% while Milling is 55% in terms of EBIT contribution to KMLOONG. With CPO price rising, Plantation division contribution should exceed 50%.
As a result, I believe yuefei is the one that simply comment without going into details of the Company

Supersaiyan you are half right, but CPO price impact to share price is much higher. Unless all analyst in town are wrong. To me, it is same like crude oil, reduce production higher price in the end make more money from.price rather than volume

good luck icon8888, i don't understand airline business so i avoid AirAsia but you might have your points here

there's also other errors in your statement. the key thing is CPO price uptrend will be beneficial to plantation companies... no need complicated math as any investors know this simple rule

hi icon, what is your assumption for Crude Oil in 2016? As my only concern is AIRASIA may lose money again if Brent recent uptrend continues...

moneysifu, my article is for reference only. do your own research, don't blame me if you lose money. as i never charge you for this article. and I never share profit with you if you earn anything from my article.
never follow blindly what I say, do your own research
and don't pick up the hobby of lazy investors that like to blame people (like moneysifu)

stockmanny, all (or almost all) of the bad news are already out for oil and gas...
don't live in the past... market is alive... Brent is now USD40/barrel
2016-03-08 05:10 | Report Abuse
yuefei01, yes the market is fair. it might also punish you if you continue to hold export counters and avoid Oil and Gas.
By the way, Brent is now more than USD40/barrel.
Expect Ringgit to increase more when market open.
As much as I hope there is still "hope" for export counters, I wish you "good luck"

When the negative news make the first page of newspaper, when everyone is negative on oil and gas, when there is blood on the street... (Meaning petronas lay off 1000 people)..silently Brent up 50% from 25 to 38. Should you be bearish or bullish? I take the road less taken, and that has made all the difference

for those of you who lose money because of investing in export counters, don't blame me if the share price drop today. I am just a small blogger (the market is very efficient and I surely do not have the ability to move the market).

Jeff Lee, promoting SKPETRO to retailers will not earn blogger any good. It is an index linked stock and it is a foreign fund + big fund manager play. I can't be promoting it to retailers and hope to earn some money out of it. It is a pure sharing.

as expected there will be 50% people agree, 50% people whack me... that's good bcos it shows that the trend of oil and gas has just started. As I say, it is THE BEST OF TIMES, THE WORST OF TIMES... I am IN... it's never 100% sure, but about 70% confidence

Poh Kong buy and sell gold at the same time. Although the inventory may worth more, once they deplete their stock, they need to buy new gold again at higher price.
Another point is with Malaysia consumer confidence at all time low, I suspect people will buy more gold than last year

good stocks are boring stock.. most of the time the share price didn't move much on a daily basis.
but the real deal are in these stocks for long term investors.
in some cases, the stocks double in 5 years (for example TM) or 20% annually which is very good for any standard.

your article is half the truth on speculative stock. there are still good stock in the long run. Just to quote a few ... NESTLE, TM, DIGI, BAT and PUBLIC BANK. These companies survive many crisis and if investors hold until now the return are obviously good

moneysifu, i will take your view into consideration if you back up your claim with numbers or some opinion. for start, may i ask what is the catalyst for oil price to decline back to USD25 per barrel? and what do you see will happen for Ringgit to tumble back to RM4.45 to USD1.00.
I have given my 5 minutes of my life to you... and I hope you answer my 2 simple questions
