judging from Kcchong's contribution so far in i3 these last few years and from most FA investors ( not punters haha) comments I can safely say that most here benefit tremendously from his unselfish sharing of share investment ideas on the fundamental sides.

If not mistaken his first article on VS was if it's a NBI n he stated his reason why it was not n it juz went on from there where there were juz too many questions ( some even challenge him to state the FV etc )so he juz continues explaining what he thinks of VS hence the many other VS articles so like you mentioned after his first article he should realized his mistake is not correct to say the least. he can be wrong about the price but his accounting jargon makes most sense to value investors

I doubt his intention were to 'push' down or write bad stuff about VS but based on his analysis that at current value VS is probably not a good investment n definitely not NBI. even if he wants too he probably can't do it since he is juz a small time investor ( sorry Kc haha ) unlike you who can actually 'move' the shares based on your ability to purchase/sell substantial shares due to your wealth. Besides u should know that most share players in bolihland are mostly punters looking for the new hot punt - where they care about FA - that is why teacher said 80% lose money in the market n he is right LOL

KC might not agree or believe with you on VS nor Margin account facility and that you have been successful in both does not mean that he is not right - if not mistaken he also have his Mr Lee's ( or some other chinaman's name LOL ) 'story' about the margin trading losses so it can work both ways but for most part margins are definitely not for newbies based on my small experience and the ones that I know.
as for his track record I think those who knows him or read articles he has written or even followed him on his 'stocks' would have made very handsome gains with the exception of the donfolloblindly fella LOL - tat one mandi bunga in bangkok also cannot help LOL

anyway, sorry for so chiong hei becoz after reading our big brother Ah jib Gor n aunty rosie are not alone n can sleep well after he got the endorsement from the Sarawak CM I oso kannnot sleep now knowing bolihland will have a long way to go in terms of changing the backward mentality of some people there :( but please continue to speak your mind about the current issues especially the mismanagement by the BN gov n also may you be healthy n live longer n especially earn more from all those ignorant punters to continue to help the students from the poor families.

Fortune I juz go to the biz section - all others I skip :) - tats how I spotted MMSV. Star interviewed MMSV,Elsoft n penta Bosses n all said their factory running full cap n millions orders clinched so did a lil homework - no others papers or analyst covering these Co but can see my local home improvement stores carrying crazy amount of LED lightings phasing out all the fluoro n Incandescent so definitely the new thing has arrived :) so I punted a bit but was wary becoz past results was poor but since they changed model of their biz can see dramatic improvement n every qtr keeps getting better so I became braver n like they said the rest is history LOL.

yeah they're full of S**t especially their one sided censored local news but if not becoz of them I might have missed out on definitely the biggest STAR of my life LOL

@coffeecup - good for u for making 100% on VS - have to admit not very familiar with this Co and Hopefully Keurig is not the MAIN reason this share surged the past year.

Keurig Green mountain share price has taken a beating since flat sales n some problems with their 2.0 machine - infact it's almost at 52 week low of $90 way off the high of $158 - see below

I don't think he (kc) missed anything la - even if he had spotted this when the price was 1 bucks + in 2014 but those consistent neg numbers of the FCF n ballooning debts will not pass his investment criteria nor any value investors for that matter.

from my observation (I could be wrong LOL) based on his many writings Part of his investment criteria will be mostly on good consistent numbers of the past years n the integrity of the management for him to consider.

yes stock investment is forward looking but who can really predict the future - maybe only our i3 residential fung shui master fortunebullz* :) but the past numbers n the mgmt. does tell some at least to where the co heading in the future.

of course sometimes if you take some risk when u saw the explosive growth you can make tons but can it last especially with those growing neg #s :) can they survive if the economy go into a tail spin or even just a slowdown ? but still cannot deny the fact that the price now at all time high n has gone up LOTS and some who saw it early n made good $$$ - congrats :)

anyway, KC to me has been proven time n again that his method of investment is less risky n in the longer term always give good above ave consistent + returns if not spectacular :) A look at his many portfolios will show that unless of course if you're the really out of luck (completely OUT LOL ) like the fella named donfollowblindly who managed to ONLY pick a meager few of his temp paper loss companies then u're really Suwei to the core LOL then not even the mandi bunga can save u - better put money in FD LOL

In fact good for the directors in this particular case Mr Goh selling some shares who definitely bought it cheap years ago - n God bless them both for turning a loss making company just 2 years ago with their vision that entirely changes where the company will move in the future with a sterling turnaround the past year n half. this has already reflected on it's price though I personally hope for more to come. The company is poised to grow further n having a healthy balance sheet will not only ensure that they can further take opportunity for expansion if ever needed and also start paying divvy regularly. My salute to them n their staff - this is what good management is about - managing it well n rewarding loyal shareholders n the share price will follow.

do I have to follow them in selling eventhough I've made more than triple on my investment for the sake of keeping some cash just incase - market crash? Yes I did sell some since I first invested mid last year but everytime I sold I end of buying higher as the prospect seems getting brighter as each day passes.

In my opinion:
I always still thought you have the intention of bohong people by reading your writings. From your indication, you stated as if because you are great in finance, you expect everyone to take or believe in everything you said, to me, your incorrect logic, wrong statistics, inflation ignorant and ignorant about finance though your assumption that you knew any finance at all.

I don't have to tell everyone you are so great in finance so that you get to mislead all the people so you can bohong them time and time again. To force them to accept everything you said is your tradesmark already on this i3 forum.

Kc has stated many times he is sharing his views ( which many of us are very grateful) and that valuation of stock can differ vastly and to look for companies below IV preferably with plenty of MOS. since when he got boast he is great in finance? (though most of the smart ones here all know that he is indeed great except the very few like u,the donfollowblindly fella - obviously he followed blindly ONLY on the stocks that currently losing,truthseeker1 who definitely is NOT seeking any truth at all n last but not least the former roti canai fella who has become a ghost but probably also reincarnate into any of the 3 mentioned here LOL

A different opinion is always welcome but to slander - is low class to say the least :(
