EPF liquidity is highly dependent on high cap individuals who now finds nothing better to invest.
So they dump money into EPF.
EPF then becomes a net buyer of many other counters besides Tenaga.
more than 90% of EPF money belongs to the super rich High Cap individuals.

These people were very convinced by the recent 6% announcement.
I believe it will NOT be a 1 day show as these High Cap Individuals are expected to pump in money to EPF on monthly basis.

I believe EPF and its subcontractors are finally doing some net buying...

I had traded all these 5 before.
Once in a while, in the past, I used to have a "fundamental craze" which made me buy ONLY so called "deemed quality companies".
as times passes by, invariably it always dawns on me that all these .... 5 companies are really very sick sickos. Then I invariably dump it off, usually at small loss.

Nowadays, I do what I do .... and totally refuse to buy anymore so called sick "quality companies"

My craze for fundamentalism is now totally over. I had learned my lesson the hard way.
I believe future generations are always doomed to repeat the mistakes of their forefathers...

Many people actually hold millions in their current accounts (not even savings accounts) just for liquidity purposes.

The real facts of life done by real people does not correspond to the wrong thinking that if same returns then bank in money to EPF due to risks alone.

3) better ability to withstand cash flow dips during recessionary periods
4) better ability to borrow more during economic booms
5) can afford to pay higher dividends example BPlant 60% payout policy
6) better control over interest rate paid
7) quick drawdown of huge capital in just few days notice to banks. (Banks need only a courtesy telephone call to standby the money)
8) ability to restructure loans easily
9) Borrow only what you need
10) Ability to repay off loans without any heavy early repayment penalties

I actually make the exact opposite decision.

I will only select companies using revolving credits.
Such companies can actually print 0.10 to 0.34 (BPlant case as mathematically calculated) for current ratio.

a whole village of companies had defaulted on their loans in the past 50 years when using term loans.
Once bank loan default its => PN17, share price can drop by more than 80%

=> whereas companies using Revolving Credits are very resilient against cash fluctuations and do not normally default.
You only need to be aware that accounting fraud companies love Revolving Credits.
Need to be more careful.

for revolving credits its normally stated as current liabilities
but actually you pay only the interest since company can live on forever.

for natural persons bank will want principal and interest before guy dies

so the current liabilities figure can be very misleading
