Above statement on the tax is not right...yes they raise the tax but only when the price is between RM2851 to RM3000 per tonne. If price is between RM2250 to RM2850, then tax remain at current level which is 4.5%. Below RM2250, zero tax.

The following articles best explain abt the stock warrants. Some people confuse with the call warrants and stocks warrants and when they see the premium they got scared abt it. They got scared because they thought it is the same as call warrant as call warrant, once out of money, you get nothing on expiry. For stock warrant, before expiry you can convert to the mother shares.

Take your time to read. Stock warrants are best to compare it with others in the same industry and also have to look at the potential of the mother shares. Of course some will say better buy the mother rather than the warrant but how much you need to fork out to buy the mother such as Gamuda. Whether buying the mother or buying the warrants,there's always a risk but if outcome over weigh the risk, the choice is yours. Money is yours and not mind.

Assuming is the same meaning. So using the same calculator, I change the 12% volatility to 28% but the calculation show me that the fair value is 1.4469,1.4471 and 1.4467 and not 1.35 or anything around 1.35.

I used the same calculator to calculate the so call fair value of others constructions stock warrant such as Kimlun-WA and Mitra-WD and it does not trade at it fair values. I tried with other warrants and the results the same....it shows that all the warrants traded are overprice.

Does this means that the option calculator is flawed or cant be used for stock warrants calculation? Can we rely on this calculator then?

As or Paka, ytlpower may not renew/sign if the contract is too short. Not worth it. By right it should be signed in March 2016. Let see how it goes with the court case. YES keep on bleeding...tough for them...guess they need to do something about it.

Paka contract still not signed. TNB brought up the case in the court....so this will take sometime. So zero revenue from this segment. Had they renewed it will be additional revenue of RM250mil/qtr. YES still in the red...darker red in fact. RM280mil losses there......tough market here to penetrate.

There's some logic to it but the qtrly results which will be out soon will proof how close is the analysis....especially on the eps.
