Thanks kc, I reckon that WCT is quite a solid compnay, making profits every year and plenty of cash and reserves. Somehow it's not moving in tandem with the other big construction companies like Gamuda and IJM etc

kc, do you agree if I say that WCT-WC may be a good buy as it's premium is only minimal. Having said that WCT, together with Mudajya are tow of the worst performing construction stocks post GE13.

CT, Hibiscus which you and I have just entered are in the same business as SONA which are listed under SPAC. And ktsk88 is right. SONA is much much bigger than Hibiscus and Cliq in terms of size and potential business. To me, the mother share is a safer bet but the warrant is more speculative and would provide higher returns relatively.

In stock trading, there are always gains and losses. I have also incurred losses in so many counters over the years. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose but the most important is at the end of the day you are in the plus territory. Like playing Black Jack - you cannot expect the Banker to pay you every time but once the game is over and you made money, it's good enough. And do you notice that most if not all people talk about their gains but not their losses. This is human nature.

City Trader, i Just jumped back into MMode again at 60 sen (itchy fingers) !

ktsk88, directors come and go and I reckon is also a common phenomenon. No one is indispensable. Nevertheless I do agree that we should use our common sense when investing.

Jennylee132, I think I have mentioned before that I am no expert in giving target price. That you can seek advice from trustme932 or City Trader or matrixcool. I have cleared my shares at 32 - 32.5 sen and will be looking into buying back if it stays at around 28 sen in the next few days. However I am still holding some WA at 18 sen (sold some at 22 sen).

ktsk88, now you are commenting with logic in that we need to study and and analyse the reasons for the disposal by Directors. But then gain it doesn't mean that he knows something is not favorable. Probably he needs some cash. If something bad is coming up, all the other directors should also be disposing.

Come on guys, if Digistar can go sown to 0.20 a lot of other shares will also drop by 20% !

ktsk88, if you don't mind may I ask you why are you still keeping Instaco since a Director sold 1 million shares just recently. But the price has gone up. No offence meant. It only shows that it is not an issue at all.
2013-10-02 10:10 | Report Abuse
That's right trustme932 !If it is so simple, then everyone can just follow the directors' movements, If they buy, you follow and if they sell you also follow. No need to use FA, TA and other analysis. No need to listen to tips or news or rumors. Everyday just look into the companies' announcements on directors' buying / selling !
2013-10-02 10:05 | Report Abuse
Directors selling and buying their shares is such a common thing. It happens in all companies. It happens everyday. I do not understand what is this an issue. There are cases when after the directors disposed off their shares, the prices went up !

CT, before I went out at 4 pm I keyed in to sell MMode (bought yesterday at 38 sen) at 61 sen and surprisingly it was done. Enough to cover my beer and snacks money !

Fully understand kc. If you to run through my postings, althoughI am rather conservative but I still like to trade for fun. My portfolio includes stocks that have been for years, some for medium term, some short term and some even intra-day or 2 /3 days. I respect and admire your thorough analysis of the stock picks which even fund managers fdo nor provide in such great details! Thanks again.

As I mentioned, the figures speak for themselves. From the list, I made some money on Fibon and still keeping KFima (which is definitely for long term). Thanks kc ! The others I am considering are MFCB and Daiman.

City Trader. the shutdown (can be a few days or few weeks) will have a impact on the world markets. Not any particular counter. If you based on chart readings, there may not be much impact. Just my thoughts.

At an eps of 4 sen, based on current price of 30 sen, the PE is only 7.5. Setting aside other financials like cash, asset quality, debts etc, how many companies in Bursa have this PE ratio !

I was lucky in digistar. Made money on the mother shares and both warrants. But still holding some WA at 18 sen. Yes, Matrixcool's thread is very informative - he mentioned both Engtex and Inari. Smart guy !

City Trader - how come you can read my mind. I went in last week at 43 sen. Was waiting for MMode further just now but it didn't. So grab some at 58 sen.

City Trader, thanks for the information.
Hibiscus - I hope it can shoot past RM2
Inari - I had a bad experience with it. Earlier in the year I bought some at 43 sen but sold at 39 sen after about 3 weeks. Since then it went all the way up !
MMode - I am watching it again and may consider entering at 57.5 sen.
