QL has also started to supply quality graded eggs to McDonald’s Jakarta-Bandung, Indonesia (~60k eggs per day). Going forward, it will supply eggs to more modern chain stores in Indonesia such as IndoMart, Solaria, Matahari Group and Lotte.

Well said alenac.
lets putting the "disclaimer" aside, Jcool is saying right on the valuation for me.. simply put in everything and come out with a fair value by using any valuation method can be really misleading, especially when one does not really understand the financial reporting. Of course i am not being doubtful on kcchong valuation as i believe he is the one who understand the flaw of the valuation.. just to be fair

@kitty
it is always good to know a company from financial perspective, however if you know well on financial reporting, you know accounting can be highly subjected to minipulation. So it will be good if u look at both accounting and business. just my 2 cents
2013-09-13 15:06 | Report Abuse
haha. i knew, just to give my 2 cents advice on you that if you looking for some fast gain, this is not ur ideal counter..
2013-09-13 15:02 | Report Abuse
@nicole,
Personally i think it will be good to keep for long term, but the PE is so high.. might as well hold on first and monitor for its business growth.. hehe
2013-09-13 14:58 | Report Abuse
the ass is hot, all are long term investor here, sitting too long so ass become hot already. whether they plan to sit for so long or not is unknown. hehe

Hi Nicole, you look into the detail part of the business, without knowing more on you i guess you are doing good in your investment and good luck to you too :) Literally i did compare between KPJ and IHH. Public or government hospital appeared to be the largest healthcare spending for Malaysia, albeit it received a lot of complain or dissatisfaction. A lot of people cant afford the high medical expenses in private hospital. IHH seems to be a premium ones compare to KPJ(without compare to others foreign private hospital). I was attracted by KPJ strategies in expanding their hospital as well as unit of bed. I think the trend will last long and it one is to invest on it, holding power is important..
2013-09-13 11:20 | Report Abuse
under healthcare industry, what business you think will be most benefit throughout the trend as like what u said? actually i am kinda looking at KPJ, which also involve in healthcare industry but rather different business as compare to Ahealth. I always thought healthcare industry especially pharmeceutical business like ahealth will have high profit margin but in fact its not as i notice. how do you think?
2013-09-13 10:46 | Report Abuse
hi nicole, actually i just want to seek for your knowledge on this company as well as the industry. hehe. i done some research but afterall i am not familiar with healthcare industry, so probably you can shed some lights? thanks

using own generated money from operation to buy back share can be very different compare to using debt... thats something one need to understand when noticed that some company are doing the share buy back, because using debt might cause detrimental and its unsustainable.
2013-09-13 09:42 | Report Abuse
No, i mean does the company using its FCF to do the share repurchase or debt?
2013-09-13 09:33 | Report Abuse
hustle, one question to ask regarding of all the examples that you stated. what source of money the company are using in doing share buyback?
2013-09-13 09:25 | Report Abuse
1. Do you receive any benefit from the investment?
of course yes, eps increase, your ownership increase, assume company 30 payout ratio as dividend policy, guess what you ll get in next dividend payout?
2. The market price is fix by ipo investor, specifically punters if nothing benefit them then sayonara.
sorry i dont understand what u mean?
3. The current share price will maintain by doing share buy back even the quarter earning shown loss.i.e RCECAP - non stop doing share buy back and pay out only small quantity of dividend in order to prevent investors dump heavily on their counters. But,do you earn anything from this counter if the negative factor is more than positive one.
is it something fishy that u can spot out? just avoid this kinda company afterall share buy back is not a buying decision one should depend.
2013-09-13 09:21 | Report Abuse
to privatise, a company needs to acquire at least 90% of the shares, in that time you are either sell back your shares to the company or holding it as private equity.i dont know much about it but i heard ones can still received dividend(if theres any). one problem for private equity is, its not that transparent as public company, and less regulated.
2013-09-13 09:14 | Report Abuse
i think so too jimmy, at least for some time i guess
2013-09-13 09:12 | Report Abuse
lol hustle, share buyback is another way to benefit shareholders through the utilization of FCF

"But a true investor should focus on just fundamentals. if fundametnals of Liihen change one day like a serious fraud involving the company's money, I will sell it without hesitation. "
so what do you think of its fundamental?

hi nicole, interested in this counter?
2013-09-12 16:55 | Report Abuse
one very tricky part of P/E is, dont use the same benchmark for every industries. for furniture industry, kindly check the sector P/E or others peers P/E, before u judge that liihen has a low P/E. just my 2 cents.

I think you didnt get my point, but this is ok, good luck to your investment limnagalim.
2013-09-09 14:04 | Report Abuse
lol. ur case is, if Cheetah bankrupt...
2013-09-09 13:36 | Report Abuse
is it a shop or department store? furthermore "就算是公司倒了,我们也可以拿回衣服.譬如, 如果我们投资 RM1000, 就算公司倒了,我们还可以拿回50件 RM20 的衣服." is misleading. because if a company bankrupt, creditor will be the first one to be paid, not shareholders, and the asset(be it current asset like inventory or non current asset), will be liquidated where inventory will be selling in cheap price. Who is that to define the clothes worth RM20? Do you think if Cheetah bankrupt the inventory will be in good condition? The inventory must be piled up long ago and worn and torn.. just my 2 cents added
2013-09-09 11:45 | Report Abuse

see Alias, you are so bias and you judge me without knowing anything. Do you clear about Malaysia's debt? How many % national debt/household debt to GDP? How many off balance sheet debt or foreign currency debt? and FYI, now i am talking about fiscal policy, our gov spending outweighted their revenue which leads to fiscal deficit. So in order to spend gov borrows the money. for now, gov plans to tighten by cutting subsidy, else soon or later(or after budget 2014), we might be further downgraded again, then it will be a real disaster, the impact will be more severe than 20cents increase of petrol price. Of course like i said there are a lot of questions behind where the usage of the money in inappropriate way.. thats beyond our sights.
2013-09-03 10:24 | Report Abuse
it is subsidy cuts lead to petrol price up, which ease gov spending. it doesnt increase gov revenue. please correct me if i am wrong

I had once look at this company... for its business, i really seldom see people eating at KRR, does the revenue from KRR grows? is it SSSG or come from new store sales? For starbuck, i pretty like it, but too bad its 50% JV and does Starbuck been saturated in Malaysia market(putting aside the rural/small town area which at least its not a suitable market yet)? Perhaps increasing of drive thru can help to spur its revenue growth?(just like how MCD did when we can see MCD everywhere). How about the new acquired and going to launch Jollibean? Selling Soybean milk can create another round of frenzy just like the milk tea(gong cha, chatime series)? Well, i dont really know, hopefully someone willing to share any insights. Thanks..
