Uem Sunrise just completed RM295m Sukuk issuance. So, there is no issue on liquidity in company cash flow. There is also RM930mil cash reserve in last quarterly report

UEM Sunrise Bhd could benefit from the MRT3 project as it has large commercial properties in the Dutamas-Mont Kiara area, where there will be at least two stations.
According to UEM Sunrise, its developments — including Allevia Mont Kiara, Arcoris Mont Kiara and Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur — are located within walking distance of the proposed Mont Kiara station.
In addition to these, the group’s Solaris Parq and Publika Shopping Gallery will be near the Dutamas station.
“The proposed MRT3 line will be beneficial to us as it will add value and attractiveness to some of our developments near its stations, not only potentially increasing their appreciation in value but also providing alternative modes of transportation and ease of mobility for residents and the communities,” says UEM Sunrise in an email to The Edge.

PrudentInvestor, let’s hope the privatization can be delayed until after General Election. If MRCB can go up 80sen from GE rally, then the privatization need to offer a price higher than that for takeover. Hopefully, RM1 or above .

MRCB should not be taken private. They should share the profit of MRT3 project with all the minority shareholders. I won’t accept even if they offer 60sen takeover price. Must give at least RM1

I think they are now starting to mop up the shares from the market. That is why volume and price going up. If many people sell them below 50sen, then probably they will just offer 60sen for balance.
If less people sell them below 50sen, then they will need to increase offer price above 60sen. Just my guess

Most people will sell before final price for privatization. The people who want takeover will collect cheaply first before announcement of takeover offer. Many will sell now even below 40sen. When they offer 60sen, most small players already sold out in the market.

Last year, I still remember E&O denied takeover or privatization. Share was 38sen. Few months later, share price slowly goes up to 50sen. Then announce takeover offer at 60sen.
Don’t fall for the trap again to sell cheaply at market price. Someone is collecting and denying privatization. Careful all.
