The owner is Khazanah Nasional, who is our country’s sovereign fund. It is a political suicide if they let this company fail. Cheap to buy at this price. And then sell when it goes back to 40sen. Easy money

Feel sorry for those who panic sell early morning. Very clear that the cancellation of Bandar Malaysia is good decision for both Ekovest and IWCity. That project would have been a disaster without HSR.
Now, with the RM1.54billion refund, IWCity may be taken private as an undervalued company with 900acres land in JB (only RM9psf). For Ekovest, no more RPT to milk its cash.

Ekovest should just focus on DUKE and KL Rivercity project. IWCity should just focus on unlocking land value in JB.
Both should not involve in mega project like Bandar Malaysia.
With the RM1.54billion refund, they should easily survive and grow in this downturn.

IWCity got about 800 acres of land in Johor Bahru Tebrau. At market capitalization of RM350mil now, it means the value of the land is appx RM10psf.
That’s way below market price of RM150psf in JB now.

I will try to sell my Ekovest tomorrow and switch to IWCity. IWH and CREC is going to be cash rich with RM1.54bil refund from govt. There is a good chance IWH may take IWCity private at current price.
