hng33, have a question that I hope u can help: When ytlpowr sbb reach 10% (it is already 8+% now), they will need to cancel treasury shares to buy back more as you have said. Then will there be a gap in time that we will not see ytlpowr do sbb while waiting for the cancellation process to take place?

Investment will raise TP when price of stock goes up (no matter how undervalue b4 that happens), and lower TP when price of stock goes down. Aren't they suppose to analyse based on fundamental? Why do we need investment bank then?

I was one of the lucky ones, got my Star matched at 3.71 at 4.50pm. So if I understand u correctly Mr Ooi, that was bcos others 'follow the wind' of the 'married deal' and put in 3.71 to buy? Since according to ur theory we cannot get the block put in by the 'married deal'.

If that is true I'm truly amazed how speculative our players are, just follow the bid up 30% without knowing why!

I hold it for 3 qtrly results so far, it was down, up, down, qtrly results like yoyo leh this stock :/

After reading the arguements so long, I think this might be the key point that untie the knot:
Mr Ooi wrote "I bought at 0.63. If I can sell at 0.75, a potential of 19% gain", Jacko & Rupert (& anyone could have) took it as Mr Ooi actually bought at 0.63.
From Mr Ooi's explanation, I think he is saying that he was answering with a hypothetical case of profit at the time of writing..
So I think it is the case of choices of words misleading ppl, may not be intentional. Maybe what he was thinking of saying was "If I bought at 0.63, then if I can sell at 0.75, a potential of 19% gain".

iafx, I also can't see how KHSB deal is linked to the take over of the four water concessionaires. When u said all 4 deals must commit in one goal, u meant the 4 water deals right? How is the 4 water deals connected to KHSB land deal? Care to explain further?

If agreement is signed b4 GE13, then it is a legal binding, whoever the head is.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of KPSB, AFFIN Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that at a Board of Directors Meeting of KPSB on 5 March 2013, the Board of Directors had been informed that the conditions set by KPSB for the acceptance of the offer by KDEB has been agreed and accepted by KDEB as follows:
1. That the Purchase Consideration for the 254,562,576 Shares shall be at a minimum of RM0.76 per Share (“Minimum Offer Price”); and
2.
