But the way he or she has expressed his or her view doesn't look and sound he or she is one.....

1.all opening balances brought forward from the past must be auditable and verifiable even now....

2. Auditors must be independent as such and as perceived

3.it is not up to the clients to reject the audited report which has been prepared objectively and independently.

4.the auditors have the duty of care to all the stakeholders including SC.

5.reporting to SC is of no issue.

Many of them are still holding since 1.60 and keep averaging till 0.40.

Many go through sleepless night but what is gone is gone. Better to cut loss like EPF and move on with other counters with hope of recouping your losses.

4. Another external auditor is hired to fill vacancy ( assuming another big 4 will take the challenge )
5. Hefty fine is expected by SC for failing to meet deadline for submission of audited account
6. Suspended from listing is likely
7. Exodus of shareholders in the end

No matter what, another auditors of the highest professional integrity would come to the same conclusion as those of KPMG.

The refusal of signing by KPMG indicates something cocky inside the company . Basically, it is gone case. Only Serba can salvage itself .....
