No need to talk so much about fertilizers - if you are so worried, then just sell off the stock. Why need to put a wet blanket? Even if the fertilizer costs are up, aren’t they still making more profits compared to a year ago? Think about this, instead of looking at negatives all the time.

@Abba84 - obviously you are new to UPlant. They normally combine their 4Q results with the annual report. Pls check your facts before making wild speculation.

Just because this stock is not going up compared to other plantation stocks, people are condemning it.. this company has excellent mgmt.. we criticize their forward sales strategy but this strategy provides stability in earnings.. earnings do not fluctuate like a yo-yo depending on CPO price.. that’s how they can give u consistent dividend.

If you have nothing sensible to write, don’t write.

If you think it’s garbage, why are you in this forum? Letting off your frustrations while sitting on a big paper loss?

this company has a great future. Need to hold. If you are out for a quick buck, this is not the stock for you.

Private placement is a cheaper and faster option. If it can generate more revenue, it will compensate the dilution. Don’t look at everything negatively, look at the positive side. Or u want a rights issue where you need to fork out more money?

It’s partly because of them that the tin price is high... even with one furnace, they are setting the price on their own terms.
The people in this forum are plain speculators who expect the price to go up every day and spooked whenever there is a slight hint of negative news.

that's the problem when there are people who don't know basic economics. If you feel uncomfortable, then just sell your shares lah.. maybe those who make negative comments do not even own any shares..
The beauty of economics is the price goes up when supply is scarce and when supply increases, the price goes down. When supply is scarce, it's a seller's market - you set the pric - if you don't want to pay, the next person who is willing to pay will buy.. think from the buyer's perspective, if you have no supply of raw materials, your factory cannot operate..

I believe some people only read the headlines but don’t read its contents or they just want to sensationalize any seemingly negative news for reasons best known to themselves.
They can now decide the pricing. As rightly pointed out, low volume is compensated by high price.
