I agree with the article.Becoming an investor does not mean you holding your all stock long term, it is just that usually investor will hold some of the stock long term as long as it is growing shareholder value. You will sell once it is not growing shareholder value. the value that you determined is your Minimum IRR.

what I can add on is the holding term for stock investment is getting shorter and shorter as time goes by.

NTA valuation dont work in a Bear market.You cannot get a buyer to buy above NTA in a bear market. PERIOD

Look at MALTON, FCF yield is 36.3% , highest of all property development company in BURSA. it has been going downtrend from 1.5 to 52c, but it never goes into liquidation. Even if your holding power is 10 years or more, it is useless if it will be delisted.

the ECRL contract signed by between the previous administration and China company has a lot of issues,like no progress billing, drawdown is outside Malaysia etc.

China is smart enough to know now the way to do business in Malaysia has changed, You can no longer bribe ppl like Najib to get deal done.

The whole ECRL project is done almost every thing by the china company, so other local company has no hand in it.
