Better results means better average selling price , means higher not lower.

Looking at how Supermax able to have PE=76 based on 4 quarters cumulative earnings and Harta at PE=84 based on the same 4 quarters cumulative earnings,
I believe Harta should trade at premium over Topglove, Kossan and Supermax due to its earning superiority and tech efficiency.
PE=100 sounds better for Harta though it applies only during this pandemic. Thereafter a PE=50 sound more reasonable.
At PE=100, it should trade at RM22
based on net profit of RM750mil pa. for 2020 or average net profit of RM187mil for each quarter.

Kiple Pay white label got BNM approval in Feb 2020.
How do you expect profit from the latest fintech initiatives?

Ventilator is used for patients in critical condition like those in ICU.
Covid-19 is one of the disease that requires.
Unlike Mask,Protective gears,etc.....not much demand after Covid-19 settle down.
Thus, ventilators will continue to have demand worldwide.

Many would ask why J@k$ is not raising funds via private placement.
The latest large & successful private placement is Serba Dinamiks , an engineering solution company with EPF taking more shares.
J@k$ has a power plant with good prospects as many had forecasted.
No takers or investors interested to take a slice?
Well, probably you would know the answer as well.

Yeah. Sooner or later the vaccine news will start to crop out.
Once the vaccine from the global multinationals companies starts to commercialise it probably by Q1 2021, most glove demands will begin to normalise back to pre-MCO levels with the standard 7%-8% pa growth.
No surprise.

Currently banks will likely not get the digital bank license as it would be duplicate to their existing license and conflict of interest.
Consortium that likely to win the 5 digital bank license:
1. Boost & Axiata Group (#1: local firm & consortium advantage)
2.Grab (Grab Financial arm)
3.TNG Digital & Ant Financial (#2: Collaboration with local firm)
4. Razer Pay
5. BigPay
6.Property firm Paramount Corp Bhd
7.US-founded financial start-up MoneyLion Inc (#3: Existing digital bank in US)
8. Gpacker & Tencent (e-KYC collaboration initiated, #4: Collaboration with local firm)
9. Sunway & Credit Bureau Malaysia (CBM) (#5: local firm & consortium advantage)

Gloves demand spike happen only during pandemic. By end of the year, glove company back to where it is in 2019. You can compare this with the top 3 glove company results and the last few pandemics in the last 10 years. This covid-19 is indeed more severe, you can factor in additional 4-5 months additional supply and 50% topline and bottomline during these period.
DO you think this high demand earnings will continue for many years?
Ask yourself this question.
Tech companies earnings for 5G,IOT,etc is consistent and ever growing till 6G arrives.
Notice the first 5 years of each evolution, remember the first iphone with 4G?
Yes, the iphone 5 back in 2012.
Look at the top tech companies that supply for 4G and all related supply chain from 2012 to 2017.
Compare their share prices from 2012 to 2017.

@Simonalibaba
Wrong.
According to Bursa, they subscribe 65 mil for the private placement set out 10 September 2019.
Normally private placement is 10-15% below market price of 65 cent-70 cent (average September 2019)
Kendall Court bought another 35 million share from direct business transaction on 19 February 2019. Direct business transaction is normally sold by existing shareholders at higher than market price due to reducing shareholding or to exit.
That's why the share price moved towards 90 cent that week.
During that period, GP is trading between 70 cent to 80 cent.
So estimated average price for Kendall Court should be 70 cent.

Check out the website for Kendall Court who recently bought 100 mil share of GP. Look at their track record since 2004 and asset under management to date.
Look at the strategy they employ went they buy in to the company.
You will be interested to buy more GP.
I believe the Singapore company is looking at the prospect of GP in next 3-5 years(stated in website, standard private equity strategy).
Similar to Brahmal Vasudevan pe company where they normally exit after a good return.

IF the long term biz is intact, why buy in and sell in this short period.
Take a look at some fintech companies which runs digital bank like N26, Monzo, Webank, Revolut, Ant Financial, etc
Their valuation are in billions(USD).
Thought Gpacket is small, now with the collaboration with Tencent for e-KYC(a BNM compliance for account opening), it should be positive for
for the Gpacket & Tencent collaborate to get the digital bank license next month.
Touch n go & Alibaba is another party trying to get the license. Many more fighting for this license.

I believe is the recent collaboration with multiple international company like Tencent, China Mobile, etc that had been bringing positive news to the share price.
Of course within the country, like PETRONAS, Bank Islam, various universities are also participating in the program.
Besides that, it recently also has some fintech initiatives for COvid-19, digital bank, thermal scanner, etc.
All this news certainly had contributed to the share price.

Understand your perspective on it.
Just to share my thoughts.
TSMC depends greatly on their customers needs. One of the largest being Apple.
Apple generates about 45% of revenue comes from US, I believe it makes sense for TSMC to have their operations in US to support one of their biggest clients.
Besides that, this Covid-19 and trade war, also reveals that operation should not be based in a single location to avoid country risks, and political issues.
However, whether TSMC would actually build it operations in US , would depend who is the next president of US in November 2020.
Furthermore, TSMC mentioned that actual construction will only begin in 2021, it shows that TSMC is also waiting to know the results of the election in Nov.

@newbie8080 there are many factors come into play. One of them might be because of increasing demand since we all know tsmc is the largest semicon globally. Unless of u think that tsmc would split its orders into two regions, while the demand is still the same, tsmc might be going in the wrong way which i think they are not. My take is that whenever tsmc keeps growing its business, we know that frontken has made a great deal of businwss with tsmc when they made an agreement to supply for them. And FYI, frontken EV/EBITDA is still highly undervalued

If I recalled correctly, from 18th March to 31st March, total lockdown during MCO.
14 days of ZERO production and installations.
Only 1st April, allow to resume operation with 50% workforce.
By May, it was 100% workforce.
The remaining 14 days sales in March will be implemented in May/June according to the news report.
In other words, Q2 results should be excellent and much better than Q2 2019.
