Any idea if earnings is staggered from day1 of power plant being fired up?
Since the power plant is the sole revenue generator once the Malaysian property are completed by 2019, what will the company be earning in the Q1 2020?

So it's true.
Thanks for the info.

Probably takes another 1-2 years to finalise all the agreements and the company has yet to secure a technical partner experienced in powerplant.
With their current financial alone, the company is unable to carry the capital expenditure.

Donald Duck really cause some uncertainty to Inari's client.
Most of them will temporarily reduced their purchase volume of sensors, RF,etc as most smartphone manufacturers are expecting slower demand in 2019/2020 across all brands.
This is not necessary a bad thing. The company is able to diversify earnings into other products mix and innovate products for the upcoming 5G next year.
Good to accumulate on weaknesses.

Not much impact from Huawei. China's local demand should be able to cover the shortfall as some of those patriotic users will switch from Samsung and Apple to Huawei.
However, overall number of new phones sales for all brands will still drop as customers extend their new phone purchase from 2 years to 3 years.
Thus, will have minor drop in cleaning services from Frontken as jobs from TSMC would drop would also reduced accordingly.
Unlike what Maybank IB mentioned about whether utilisation of 40% or 90% cleaning would still be required.
That may be misleading as TSMC would likely be utilising less equipments for manufacturing chip processors. For example, 50 units equipment to produce 1,000,000 chips at utilisation capacity of 40%, TSMC would use 22 units of equipment to produce the same number of chip processors at 100% utilisation.

@goodiewilly
1) GDV of RM140 bil is probably realised over the period of more than 20 years.
2)The development of BM is hared 60:40. The CREC Chinese companies are taking up 40% of RM140bil.
Thus, effectively only left RM84bil (60% for IWH portion)
3)IWCITY & Ekovest is not part of the development but has links to IWH.
Both companies MAY receive some subcontract jobs.
4) Now the issue is for IWH to pay the downpayment of RM469.09 mil(LKH portion)
Consortium downpayment:RM741 mil + RM500= RM1,24 bil
IWH: CREC Chinese
60:40 ratio
LKH: Kumpulan Prasaran Rakyat Johor S/B
63:37 ratio

To avoid conflict of interest from the 2 ministries, an independent committee was formed to expedite the BM project. Things are not to be just IWH-CREC decisions alone. The immediate action to be done is to submit the deposit. IWH-CREC consortium needs to iron out the funding matters especially IWH. 2 attempts had failed to consolidate the LGH group. What could be the fastest way for IWH to raise funds?

DK66,
It's not the isolated event in 2015 that triggers me.
I'm looking at the hydropower plants and their capacity.
If hydropower is able to generate more electricity either through technological advances and getting through the dry season as well,
could it mean EVN would request other thermal powerplant to shutdown the reserves as well?
Is this a distinct disadvantage to thermal powerplant vs hydropower plant in Vietnam?
Why is the Vietnam government favouring hydropower plant over thermal power plant?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Newbie8080,
2017 is the only unusual year since operation in 2015 due to unusually heavier rainfall.
Any reason why you see this to be a frequent future event ?
Maybe you can enlighten us.

Read between the lines bro.
Venting your anger only reflects your low EQ.

Bandar Malaysia is huge project that goes beyond 10 years.
May take up to 25 years to fully developed.
An example will be Bangsar South. Most of us remember that place back in 2000. Now it's still under development.
Most people who purchased this counter eg: IWCITY and Ekovest are hoping for short term gain only.
Very few people willing to view it long term.
Becoz the future is very uncertain, which is true.
5 years down the road, the government of the day may change and probably the Bandar Malaysia project may be cancelled.

I have 3 questions. Hope someone can share their opinion.
1) How do IWH-CREC consortium fund the RM7.41 bil purchase of the land?
- No issue for CREC portion(40%) of RM2.96 bil as the company is state-owned by the government of China
- IWH portion (60%) of RM4.45 bil would be a large investment, no backing from anyone.
2) Why is Tan Sri Lim Keng Cheng selling his shares recently?

26-Apr-2019 Insider TAN SRI DATUK SERI LIM KENG CHENG (a company director) disposed 5,600,000 shares at 1.001 on 25-Apr-2019.
3. How does IWH consist of IWH(63%) and Kumpulan Prasaran Rakyat Johor Sdn Bhd(37%) fund the deposit of RM1.2bil in 60 days?
- No mentioned of IWCITY or Ekovest helping out IWH.
Unlikely these 2 listed company able to fork out RM756 mil cash to help out IWH portion.
