I have made a conservative forecast of RM300m to RM500m profit from the vietnam power plant, and more if the power plant is operating at more than 80% PLF which is quite likely given the severe shortage of power in vietnam. Power generation business can easily command between 10 - 15x PE.

So, yes, my TP is jaw-dropping between RM7 - RM10 which is likely to materialise in 2022 after it reports a full year operating results from vietnam IPP. The power plant will be fully operational by end of 2020.

I have written 3 articles and made hundred of comments on Jaks. Hope you will be able to find some answers there.

Hopefully, the SPE highway aka Duke 3 will bring better value to Ekovest.

However, diversification may not be a bad thing as now construction and property segment is generally politically linked, having other source of income would help reduce dependency.

Malaysis exports 17,000 tonnes of durian to China and it sell more than rm300 per kilogram to China market.
That's a RM5.1 billion biz assuming population of China remains unchanged.

With Lim Kang Hoo having good ties with the Chinese, it may prove to be a bigger biz than it's construction and property biz if executed well.

Because there's corporate exercise in the company frequently, such as private placements and rights(shares/warrants), the no of shares tend to grow over time.

It's possible for the company to have more than 1 billion shares in the next few years taking into account of warrant conversion, stock options,bonus issues,etc.

Thus, putting a TP is very not accurate for a future valuation
as eg: rm10 with 1 billion shares making it almost rm10 bil in market capitalisation.
That's quite ridiculous if you look at it and compare with ytlpowr market capitalisation's of 7 bil and annual revenuw of more than rm10bil.
