65.9 sen EPS for 3 quarters is good.

If we conservatively estimate full years EPS at 80 sen & if the co trades at a conservative PE of 10, then the share price = RM8. Unfortunately though, this co trades way below at about 4.3 PE.

Such being the case, our only salvation is a decent dividend but the Board - which going by their track record is again unfortunately miserly.

We're doomed. Urgh!

A massively good news but unfortunately the govt is going to steal a big chunk in the form of prosperity taxes to pay fat salaries & other perks to people who do nothing but sinfully provoke hatred & division among the people.

PE 3.9 & handsome dividends due to go ex soon & investors are still selling. This is indeed anomaly.

The quarterly report mentions bad news for the co including higher raw material cost, a hefty 27% lower ASP, increasing supply & moderating demand. It also mentions a glimmer of good news structural step-up in emerging market demand. But emerging markets have lesser money unfortunately.

Kudos to the management!

The best strategy for this co whose share price is tanking is to reward the shareholders by squeezing as much dividends as possible.

This will be a great compensation for shareholders who are suffering a massive capital loss.

The bumper profits up to FY Sep 2021 should not be affected since the prosperity tax is applicable to Yr of Assessment 2022 hence FYE Sep 2022

We're screwed as the prosperity tax is applicable to Yr of Assess 2022. So the bumper profit quarters from Jun 21 to Mar 22 will be hit with extra 9% prosperity tax.

Good arbitrage opportunity would be to sell Magnum at 2.18 & buy Btoto at 2.08.

Btoto share is worth more than Magnum

My guess is that the June quarter was the best ever, the climax, the peak & will not be repeated.

If the price does not increase, I'll just hold on to my babies & collect whatever dividends they give. I don't want to give the satisfaction to the shorters to square their positions at a profit. The moment it spikes up to the point I make a decent gain, then I'll sell.

It's a zero-sum game - My profit is their loss.

If there was share buyback today, then it's safe to say that we can expect very good results

I believe that the short sellers who in the recent past have caused a steep drop in the price have yet to fully cover their positions. They are waiting for sufficient Harta stocks priced lowly to square their positions profitably.

The best way to counter the China threat is to wait patiently.

When the short sellers overdo it or when investors are excessively panicky, causing the share price to tumble way below what Harta feels is the intrinsic value, do a share buyback.

Keep scooping up repeatedly every time this happens and in the long run, we'll get a decent EPS which will translate into higher share prices.

Bonus issue means 1 + 1 = 2.5

Excess monies spent paying dividends or share buybacks is monies well spent!

What better way than invest in your own co if the business prospects justify it.

Just 1 suggestion. If dividends are going to be miniscule, then better accumulate it and distribute them together with the next dividend. Quarter sen is just too tiny.

If the share price is too low & the co has tons of cash then it's time to mobilize share buybacks.

It'll benefit all shareholders in the form of increased EPS which will translate into higher share price.
