@NatsukoMishima, at 45 sen a share, TG's market cap would have dropped to RM3.6 billion or only about 5% of its market cap sometime in August 2020. Hope it doesn't drop to this level, otherwise many TG investors would commit hara kiri, including some on this forum.

ASB, EPF and PNB already hold over 60% of Maybank shares. Over 91% of Maybank shares are held by the 30 largest shareholders. Over 98% of Maybank shares are in the hands of those owning over 100,000 shares. Maybank is ready to face a crisis of any sort. Buy when it dips.

Only a 3.22% discount based on an ex-dividend price of RM8.66. At today's closing price of RM8.58, the discount has dropped to 2.5%. RHB offers much better discount.

TNB is facing strong headwinds due to rising interest rates and a depreciating Ringgit visavis the US Dollar. It has over RM50 billion in borrowings, including 2 billion borrowings in US$. Tenaga's woes should be over latest by end of next year.

No reason for TG or other glove stocks to move up except that shares of glove stocks are now so low that time is ripe for a speculative play.

After adjusting for the 20 sen dividend, Tenaga has still dropped by about 70 sen from its recent peak. Maybank has dropped by only 20 sen. As long as the Ringgit keeps depreciating against the US Dollar and interest rates keep going up, Tenaga's share price will remain subdued.

Tenaga trades ex-dividend today. If you sell today, of course you are going to receive the 20 sen a share dividend on 14th Oct.

TSH share price has been heading south for the past one month even with daily purchase of 500,000 shares by a Director. The situation is really bad.

Want to make RM20 from DRP issue this time also difficult. Decision : don't bother to apply.

UlaeSawa the Big Python, no one wants you to reply his comment. The problem with you is you are unable to tolerate the slightest negative comments about TG or its directors, especially your respected Ah Chai.

Keck Seng failed to pay any dividend in 2020 and 2021. This year it paid 5 sen a share dividends in April and July. The company normally pays an interim dividend of around 4 sen a share in November of the year. Looks very likely that it is not paying this year.

You shouldn't waste your time responding to comments posted by AmySee, LZCY2020 and me. Of course we are not in the same level. Go and write to the two Investment Banks which recently had issued buy call for MRCB, one at 44 sen, the other at 46sen questioning their recommendations.

@lawrence86, shares everywhere are dropping. It is a worldwide phenomenon but you only notice that MRCB is falling.

Maybank has performed extremely well over the past 32 months, viz since the beginning of 2020. It was trading at around RM8.60 then. Investors who had bought Maybank at around RM8.60 and remain invested would have received in total dividends amounting to RM1.49 a share, not including the 28 sen a share dividend to be paid on 19 October.
The return on investments is thus around 20%. The KLCI dropped by about 125 points from 1530 points to 1405 points or about 8%. Maybank has thus overperformed the KLCI by almost 30%. Syabas Maybank!

With 1000 shares, you can only subscribe for 10 DRP shares. Suppose you can make 50 sen per share, the amount you can make from this DRP is only RM5. Stamp duty alone would cost you RM10, other charges = RM3.

UlarSawa the Big Python, Top Glove drops 1 sen means a 1.5% drop, Dow has to drop by 450 points to be comparable. Get your mathematics right. Just two weeks ago, Top Glove was trading at over 80 sen a share. How much has it dropped? Can you work out yourself?

Assuming one has 10,000 Maybank shares. The amount he could reinvest is RM700.00. At an issue price of RM8.38 per share, his allotment is thus 700/8.38 or only 83 shares.
