What is happening to RHB Bank? CIMB Bank's lead over RHB Bank has widened over the past few weeks. It is now almost 50 sen higher.

UEMS has already scaled to its highest level in 6 years but MRCB is still struggling at below 50 sen. There was talk of a merger between MRCB and UEMS quite a few years ago with MRCB valued at 6% higher.

Hei brother, you can go through my comment history, I have never belittled counters other people have bought but this person had belittled Maybank, claiming it was a joke and there would be bank runs. He also belittled Hap Seng, Farm Fresh and a host of other counters.

Everything will be back to normal within the next one and a half to two years. There will be bad over capacity in the glove manufacturing industry then and the share price of glove manufacturers will return to early 2020 levels. There is certainly excessive speculation right now.

At 8.62 a share, Top Glove has a market capitalization of about 70 billion. Assuming a PE of 20, it needs to achieve net earnings of 3.5 billion. Does any Top Glove investor really think this is achievable in the long term?
The above were two comments I had posted at around the peak of glove craze. Those who had sold their glove stocks then could buy tens times more shares today. I never claim any credit like Jipun.

Good start to the new year, Another 35% rise this year would propel Keck Seng's share price to RM6,50 at the end of the year. Let's hope for the best.

EPF needs to replenish the heavy withdrawals by its members over the past two years. Hence RHB Bank would likely maintain or even increase slightly its total dividend payment.

Keck Seng ended the last trading day of last year at RM3.60 a share. If it could close at RM4.75 today, then including the dividends, total gains for 2023 would be RM1.28 or 35.5%.

Even if it doesn't break RM9 today, it would rise above RM9 again soon as the dateline for the announcement of its final quarterly results and final dividend approaches.

From a low of 51.5 sen on 8/12 to 71 sen today, that is an impressive gain of 27.5% in just two weeks. Even Ah Long can't make money this fast.

I have looked through MAH's profit and loss records for the past 20 years. It was profitable from 2003 to 2014, with highest eps achieved in 2014 at 55.42 sen and lowest eps in 2003 at 7.7 sen, for an average eps of 26.87 sen during this period. Discounting abnormalities in earnings during the pandemic period, its earnings from 2015 to 2022 have been even more disappointing, with highest eps at 40.37 achieved in 2018 and lowest eps at -1.69 in 2015. With so little earnings, one can't expect it to pay much dividend. I assume its yield should not exceed 2.5%. It hasn't performed well over the past 20 years, I don't expect it to do better in the next 20 years.

The lower the better so that I can buy more.
