On 22 Oct 2023, Johnny the little puppy's broker forced sold his MRCB call warrant, resulting in him losing over RM100k.

Maybank has been doing well and paid good dividends for more than a decade even during times of low interest rates.

I am getting more and more confident that MRCB won't dip below 40 sen again. It has not closed below 40 sen for more than three and a half months now.

You only look at the negative aspects of RHB Bank. The views of some IBs are more balanced. Ignoring the IBs with the highest and lowest TPs, CIMB and AmInvest still have buy calls on RHB with a commendable TP of around RM6.50 a share.

Hold it until the price triples or more. You might have to wait for 10 years.

@theyoungman, don't expect this person to have any useful information to share with you. He had belittled Maybank investors, claiming they were situpid. After reading some of his posts, I know where he stands.

Can't go wrong investing in Maybank. Suitable for elderly people and those who are risk averse.

When RHB Bank reported much improved quarterly earnings for the first and second quarters, its share price hardly moved up. When it reported slightly poorer results for the third quarter, its share price immediately dropped. There is really no logic. For much of this year, it was 30 to 50 sen higher than CIMB bank but now it is 30 sen lower.

Never trust the person who posted this comment. He claimed two weeks ago that deposit flights would soon hit local banks and urged investors to sell bank stocks.

Mad dog's claim that his latest paper gain of RM90k is just BS. Very likely he has lost RM90k and jealous of others and barking madly non stop.

Those who are prepared to play the long game can accumulate in small quantities slowly.

Johor Bahru is developing very, very fast. In less than 10 years, Keck Seng's development/plantation lands in Pasir Gudang area would be worth on average at least RM 1 million per acre. Keck Seng has about 7,500 acres of land in Pasir Gudang area. How much do you think it is worth?

EPF is the second largest shareholder of GLC such as MAH, IHH and MISC with a 13% shareholding in MAH, 12% in MISC and just under 10% in IHH. MISC is trading at a PE of above 15 and a dividend yield I believe of under 5%. For years IHH trades at a PE of over 30 and a yield of around 2%. MAH lost a total of about RM1.8 billion in 2020 and 2021. Yet both MAH and MISC are trading at above RM7 a share while IHH is above RM5.80. Non has earnings and dividend yields comparable to RHB Bank but EPF is just unwilling to support RHB to a price that RHB Bank deserves.

Crazy to sell Keck Seng at this level considering that its land bank in Pulai alone is already worth over RM2 billion.

Little Johnny is very disappointed today. He has prayed very hard for MRCB to drop to 38 sen today so that he can afford to buy but MRCB has staged a recovery. It should remain unchanged today though earnings has dropped by over 90%.

Ikan bilis like Johnny can't afford to buy Maybank which is 20+ times more expensive than MRCB. He can't even afford to buy MRCB, only can afford to buy MRCB call warrants. Make RM40 but informed the whole world that he has made RM40k.

More than half of my fund is invested in Maybank and RHB Bank. Only a fool would think that I suffer losses so far this year. Empty vessels would announce to the whole world after making some money. Those who have made a lot would keep quiet.

Some Maybank investors have made millions but they have never bragged about their success. Only an empty vessel/tin kosong would think he has made a lot of money and need to inform the whole world.

Just hold on to your Keck Seng shares tightly, no need to sell. At over RM100/ft2, the price which Cresendo sold several parcels of its land in Pulai, Keck Seng's land in Pulai area is already worth over RM2 billion.

Listen to someone who wrote "Situpid ppl only invest Maybank", you will land in Holland much much earlier. I will start averaging down when its share price falls by more than 25% from the levels I sold.
