The variability in coal PPA is not coal prices....they always have protections against price fluctuations.....The variability is in down times and technical designs.......This we will have to wait and see lah......

EPF do not enter stuffs with market cap < $ 1 billion....as a rule.

small cap investors vs big cap investors......

over a life term, over the long term.........it is more fruitful to invest in excellent companies, learn to say No to small cao opportunities..

for a trader, any thing also can trade, good bad ugly also can trade.

Not every share is for everyone.....but this Jaks I can say....its one of the better buys in Bursa right now with its clarity and predictability.

That is why I don't understand investors who are able to buy 30 stocks, when they can't even name the top 5 management team, their track record and all of the above at the top of their head.

You read the report many many times I assume. Can you name me the top 5 managers without referring back to the report? ( Warren buffet remembers all the managers of his companies by name). If you can do that can you name all the metrics I just put out above as it is all interrelated.

If you can't, I suggest you read the reports a few more times and memorize the details, or stick to companies you are familiar with.

He says EPF only selects from premier league universities in UK and US....the Cambridge, Oxford , types.

There are no local graduates in their investment division.

work in progress accounting....The old MFRS is not user friendly to non accountants.

EPF have to take what the market offers. EPF do not just take 4 counters in 10 years.

Sendai....revenue $ 1.7 billion, trade receivables $ 1 billion.....amounts shown as amounts due from customers under construction contracts is made up of costs incurred and profits recognized on work in progress but not billable to customers. This is the old MFRS.

There is a new MFRS to replace the old MFRS.

Jaks, YTL, Malakof PPA are based on Capacity payment + Output Payment + Fuel costs

recently, in Europe, USA and even TNB , for solar cell IPPs they give out tenders based on sen/ KW.
