qqq3, u r wrong.... in fact, I am buying more of PCHEM recently. When I say "should worry" I am just giving out cautionary note to those who r too optimistic as if nothing bad will happen to their investment.

I am not suggesting that EPF is exiting PCHEM totally. EPF has its way of pressing down a stock's price to very low level & then buying back the shares at much cheaper prices.... ending up with even more shares than b4 it started its heavy selling. Since PCHEM is fundamentally so strong & profitable, all the more EPF will want to acquire more of its shares. But EPF is very smart.... they want to acquire more of those shares at very low prices so that they can own more of the company without paying for those extra shares.

If buyers can buy up more than what the sellers keep selling then the price can stop falling & move up a little..... but if buyers keep buying less than what the sellers keep selling then the price will fall slowly (a few cents everyday).

If u look at the past 3 months price chart of PCHEM, u will notice that it sudden dropped very steeply within a few days (starting from 7 Jan 2019)...... and incidentally, EPF started its heavy selling from 7 Jan 2019 till now (this couldn't be coincidence, right?).

On 4 Jan 2019 (b4 EPF started heavy selling), PCHEM was RM9.26; by 15 Jan 2019 (about 1 & half week from 4 Jan 2019) PCHEM has dropped to RM8.27 (dropped more than 10% in less than 2 weeks). If EPF continues its heavy selling for another 6 to 8 months, the price can easily drop another 65% (to RM3.00).

It is bcoz ikan bilis not able to acquire all those shares dumped by EPF (as well as foreign funds fleeing Bursa) that the price keep falling..... selling pressure so much stronger than bargain hunting.

Whatever the reason for EPF selling 2 million to 5 million shares every other day on regular basis, I think we should be very worried about its effect to the share price of PCHEM..... within a few months, it could bring down the share price from RM8.50 to RM3.00 or lower. This company may have solid fundamentals but the selfish actions of EPF (that suits its own objectives) can only cause the share price to fall drastically (due to the huge volume of selling pressure).

Hahaha.... I heard pang72 is a momentum trader; he lets other people warm up the engine from 26 sen to 30 sen first then he comes in when the engine is already hot so he can enjoy easy ride.

Well, I have some risk exposure in this counter bcoz it actually has a lot of good news recently & brighter days going forward (in the future). Unfortunately, most people like to focus on some inevitable facts of this O&G business (like huge debts & 16 billion outstanding shares). Anyway, everyone has their right to make their own choice whether to hold shares in this counter or not.

I didn't sailang at 0.275; just got all matched at 0.275 (need to save a lot of bullets, in case price drop lower can buy more at lower prices).

Really hope so! Huat ah! Heng ah! Ong ah!

Even though Mr Hamzah bin Bakar bought only 4 million shares from 0.265 to 0.280 during the past few days, it is comforting to know that my entry prices were slightly lower than his (an insider).

Too much analysis leads to paralysis of action. I entered at 26 sen b4 CNY when most people in this forum said it would drop to 23 sen. Last week my older brother asked me can enter at 26.5 / 27 sen or not; I said yes but he wanted to wait for this week to "see how first." Now we have someone keep asking "can buy now or not" (@MataKuching) but we have so many people keep giving out bad news (based on their own perceptions). If MataKuching wants some form of "sure win" guarantee.... I think nobody can give such guarantee. But if he wants my opinion.... simple answer is "Yes!" I bought again at 28 sen yesterday & I have been Q-ing to buy at 27.5 sen since a few days ago till now still cannot get yet.

Same with mother share.... only 8% sold at 27.5 sen but 92% bought at 28 sen.

Waah!! Sharks suddenly start pushing up! Hard to get 26 sen now.

I bet today I can get some at 26 sen bcoz yesterday's total volume was 82 million shares & now we have 47 million Q buy at 26 sen & 42 million Q sell at 26.5 sen. Today's total volume should b more than yesterday's volume.

In the case of OMV, OMV was the one who bought 50% of SUP..... hopefully later sell back to SAPNRG at OMV's loss; hahaha!!

Hope my explanation about the OMV deal helps to clear some doubts. As I see it, there's nothing tricky about the OMV deal. I think it is a fair deal (in fact it benefits SAPNRG no matter how u look at it). Of course, OMV is getting a real bargain in this deal.

About the OMV deal, this is how it works:

The enterprise value of Sapura Upstream (SUP) was estimated at US$1.6 billion (US$1,600 million) & its market capitalization was US$180 million. Hence, the total equity is US$1,780 million. 50% of this total equity is US$890 million.

OMV has to pay SAPNRG US$890 million to purchase 50% of the equity of SUP. But OMV only paid US$540 million cash to SAPNRG. So there is a shortfall of US$350 million. OMV will borrow USD350 million from local & foreign institutions but SAPNRG must give corporate guarantee for USD175 million for the loan & OMV will also give corporate guarantee for USD175 million. What this means is OMV borrows the USD350 million to pay SAPNRG but SAPNRG has to guarantee for 50% of the loan amount (i.e. US$175 million).

So, what has SAPNRG got so far? SAPNRG already got US$540 million cash from OMV on 31 Jan 2019. SAPNRG will get another US$350 million cash from OMV when OMV gets the loan on a later date.

My TA dah lama signal u-turn/turun on Jan 16 when the price hit RM1.08 (that was when I sold all). If want to buy (or buy back) mahu kena tunggu lama sikit..... I think it should go down lower than 98 sen soon.

The RI comes with free 1 warrant for every 10 RI shares subscribed and Warrant now trades at 10sens means the catual 1 RI share cost without free warrant is actually 30 sens ( RI price) - 1.0 sens ( current warrant price/10 ) = 29 sens. So the SAPnrg shares I bought at 26 sens today is about 10 % discounts versus the RI share price without having free warrants.
