Since the private placement cancelled, someone who were interested/supposed to get shares in private placement has no choice but need to buy it, so he got it from one of major shareholder by DBT (Direct Business Transaction), 15 mil shares.

Ai yah... why so worry about the retracement today? It is just normal for a counter to come down when not so good quarterly result announced! It will surely bounce back next week, just look at MEDIA, I bought on Wednesday at 66.0 sen and sold today 75.0 sen, handsome gain.... same saying ..... When people are fearful, we shall be greedy!!! KHamster : It is just the strategy to collect more shares from market, by averaging, their cost is still very reasonable, no way they can collect enough shares if they are just waiting and hoping to collect 200-300k daily, some day the volume traded is just less 200k, might you, for 11 market days this month, 6 days traded volume is below 200k, furthermore there are people waiting to buy if the price is low enough. On top of that, about 75% of issued shares is controlled by Berjaya and DYMM, then few % held by other major shareholders like Dato' Wei, Lau Bik Soon, and others. SO.... don't be surprised if this counter is cornered one day!

Why the current price is so low? A BIG question that the MD couldn't understand too... let me put it a simple scenario from a trader point of view, my 2 sen view:
1. When the private placement was announced, investors are waiting for clearer picture of the private placement on the price (although management wanted it at 59.0 sen) and quantity, this waiting period causing the uncertainty that dragged the price down to around 40 sen
2. Weak oil price, although REACH's production cost is only USD40, but how many people cares, what in their mind is just that weak oil price is no good for REACH
3. When the private placement issue cancelled, people taught that the company will be having problem to raise RM180mil, but forgotten that there is other avenue like borrowing/loan or even getting a partner
4. BURSA market sentiment is real weak for second/third liners, more so O&G counters, people just lost confidence or fearful

The above 4 points that I can think of at the moment have created an imbalance of SUPPLY & DEMAND which subsequently causing a 50% off from fair value of 75.0 sen.

NO worry, the price will recover soon, if yesterday price (35.5 sen) was not bottom, then how low can it be?! I believe .... when people are fearful, we shall be greedy!!! Cheers.

Managed to do some bargain Hunting today, good opportunity to buy at cheap when people were scared by some negative and unrealistic comments. Bought 233k today. Sometimes it needs to take a break before going up higher, lovely. Will get in more tomorrow before it shoots up again. Maybe this time above 60.0 sen. Cheers.

179Mil share excess shares available for distribution, and their cost is just 10.0 sen, will they sell to take a quick profit? Good enough profit with 10% on Friday or wait for 20% or more later? Can the market aborb the selling pressure? BTW, I already sold my original shares today @ 12.5, buy back opportunity on Friday if the price is right, i.e. 20% below my selling price today.
