rr88 That's good advice, but yet many will not listen. Most of those who day trade are quite confident they will make money. You are right, most of them lose a lot more than they make. Net result is negative.
I am speaking with experience as a day trader with swift trade. There were about 20 of us in the office doing day trading for our boss from China. He lost everything !!!! One sunday he brought a truck, loaded everything and disappeared. Office rent couldn't pay as well as traders salaries.
My sincere advice is invest in stocks with good potential and let the price appreciate. A small plant needs time to grow into big tree. It is as simple as that.

It is a lucrative deal and MR Kang Hoo needs to get Greenland or maybe some other developer to take over and pay up. It will be a much needed cash injection. Maybe Tun's visit with trade delegation From Apr 25- Apr 28 can help him negotiate. He! He! He!

How many people research into IWC? Many buyers and sellers are like fireflies. See some light, they come out in the millions to bask in the limelight. When the light is not so bright they will move elsewhere.

If only they were to realize, IWC has waterfront properties especially at Danga Bay that are more than twice the size of Bandar Malaysia. Some land has already been sold and money is on the way. When recieved, could be channeled to IWH (marjority share holding) and to investors like you and me as cash dividend. I am not saying it will happen for sure, but there is reason to believe so as IWH will need lots of money in the coming months and years for land purchase and development expenses at Bandar Malaysia.

IWH will need to raise a lot of money in the coming months and years to pay for the land at Bandar Malaysia. Where is the money going to come from? My guess is they may have to sell assets which are very likely waterfront land in Johor through IWC. The money can then flow from IWC to IWH and of course to IWC shareholders such as you and me. Cash dividends!!!!!! Hoping for it.

Bandar Malaysia awarded to IWH - CREC consortium. Most people make connection between IWH and IWC as well as Ekovest as they are Lim Kang Hoo majority shareholder counters.
To come out with statement IWC and Ekovest are not involved is a formality to show they were not directly related to Bandar Malaysia. Investors are buying in the believe that this two companies will become involved in time to come.
Also since IWH is not listed, there is a possibility of takeover offer. Just last year Ekovest offered RM1.60 to IWC shareholders and was without Bandar Malaysia project approval or announcement. Now with IWH having the project in hand, what may they offer to IWC shareholders if they plan on takeover? Anyone wants to guess? He! He! He! Najib_bodoh Because the 1MDB scandal got too big, the Bandar Malaysia deal was not enough to close the big gap (itu lubang sudah jadi terlalu besar, tak boleh tutup). So the BN gov't cancelled the deal with IWH-CREC and try to deal with Wanda group for a higher amount. That plan did not work also, followed by everything fall apart after elections. Now PH gov't needs money also. This revival will help the economy to recover together with other mega projects including ECRL. Daim already said give PH gov't another six months and you will see good progress. Tun and Daim have a lot of experience and am confident our economy will start to do well in the coming months. Now is a good time to invest in good but cheap stocks.

This award of Bandar Malaysia project to CREC-IWH consortium is confirmed. It also seems the price has not been changed, which is good news. As for HSR, Tun said there is room for the station to be built in Bandar Malaysia when the project comes on after postponement. So far the news is all postive. Some people are concerned about having to build 10,000 affordable apartment units. That will not take too much space. It is actually positive as it means there will be a lot of residents living at Bandar Malaysia, which will be good for businesses operating there.

iwcity in danga bay invited many developers to join hands and develop together. I believe the same will happen in BM. Maybe Malton will also be involved. let's see how it goes. Sometimes it is better to bet on both horses. That's why I took position with iwcity and Malton.

It's main asset is Danga Bay. While Bandar Malaysia is a speculative play, Danga Bay is already reclaimed from the sea and is up for development. Short to medium term, it is the most important asset and hope for success.

My other favorite for this project and also because deeply undervalued is Desmond Lim's Malton Bhd. If you look at Lim Kang Hoo's style of management, he ropes in other developers to join hands as can be seen in Danga Bay. A few large developers local and foreign taking up parcels of land to develop as the whole area is too big for IWCITY to develop by themselves.

If that is the case, this project can come on very quickly as we don't need to negotiate with Singapore. Bandar Malaysia could very well be the central station. Beautiful piece of land for a big project. After completion can link from Johor to Singapore very quick and easy. I strongly believe we are getting close to some major news. Even if it takes a few months to happen, better to wait patiently. When it happens, this stock gonna move fast and furious. Will be difficult to get on the band wagon when it is moving fast. Better to sit in the wagon beforehand and wait.

Actually bought this stock because Airbus is doing a feasibility study to be completed by end of 2019. They hope to set up a huge airplane manufacturing plant in Labu. This ECRL coming here is really a big surprise. Imagine if both are approved !!!!!
