The last 2 quarter results of MFCB reported lower net profit.

Looking at the share price of MFCB on 12/12/2019, breaking new high.
The Q4 2019 and Q1 2020 results of Jaks are no longer important, it is more important to see the power plant of Jaks in Vietnam produces electricity and sell electricity in April/May 2020.

I was told this power plant project was supposed to award to "Asean country" investors only, China investors are not allowed to own this power plant.
The contract was signed between Jaks and Vietnam government.
There is no way CPECC can hijack this project without Jaks agreement or approval.
In another words, Jaks is main contractor, CPECC is sub-contractor.

I agreed with DK66, it is a super deal for Jaks.
Andy Ang had done a super good job.
I had talked to him personally, he is very smart and mouth is super sweet.

I must say Andy Ang is an exceptionally clever and shroud business man to be able to secure the 1,200 MW power plant contract from the Vietnamese Government and completely sub-contract to the Chinese party who has the technical ability and financial capacity to complete the power plant, which is valued at about Rm 7.76 billion.
The most important consideration is that Jaks does not need to borrow money from banks to finance the project and does not need to lay a brick to construct the huge power plant. In fact, the Chinese Sub-contractor and JV partner pays Jaks Rm 454 million during the 3 years of construction. Now I understand Jaks has already received about one third of the Rm 454 million.
In my 60 years’ experience in the construction contracting industry, I have never seen such a juicy contract as Jaks’ power plant contract. As an independent power producer selling electricity to the Vietnamese Government at a profitable rate for 25 years.

Please tell me any project in India awarded to Malaysian company is a successful project.
Answer is none.
IJM lost big in India, build highway cannot collect toll.
Maxis failed in India, the worst case the owner of Maxis is wanted by Indian government.
The power plant of Mudajaya until today still no news of producing electricity. Full of problem.
I just checked in Google, still has not produced electricity yet.
It is very difficult to do business in India especially foreign firms.
To me, Mudajaya had failed in India.

Kenanga Investment Bank Bhd Research has maintained its "Neutral" call on the oil and gas sector, noting that it is positive on the Activity Outlook for 2020-2022 by Petronas and feels comforted that upstream activities would continue to stay elevated from the surge in 2019.
Big winners from Petronas' Activity Outlook. Among them are fabricators (e.g: MHB, SAPNRG), which will benefit from the surge in numbers of wellhead platforms (WHPs).
Based on the Activity Outlook, Kenanga Research said marine vessel providers (e.g: PERDANA, ALAM, ICON, COASTAL) will benefit from the huge rise in demand for offshore support vessels (OSVs).
Kenanga Research also highlighted that offshore players (e.g: DAYANG, CARIMIN) will continue to enjoy increased maintenance, construction and modification work orders.
"Meanwhile, VELESTO whose rig fleet are currently fully chartered out, is expected to continue to enjoy high utilisation rates amidst sustained drilling rig demand,"

Petronas Activity Outlook 2020-2022 is out. This can be downloaded at Petronas-media site.
Page 57 indicated that for 2019, MCM planned manhours (mhrs) was 17.7 m mhrs while actual came in at 15.2 m mhrs (this is the first time Outlook included actual figures). Base on 15.2 m mhrs, already all the three companies had much improved performance.
Now for 2020, the planned mhrs is 18.9 m (previous 2019-2021 outlook for 2020 was 17.6 m mhrs, thus a 7.4% increase). Imagine next year what would be the performance - much better than 2019 for sure IMHO.
And this is MCM only, I have not looked at HUC etc.

I told all my followers to sell Dayang and swap to Jaks on 8/10/2019.
The price of Jaks on 8/10/2019 was 0.83.
The price of Dayang on 8/10/2019 was 1.69 (after adjustment for right issue).
I upgraded both Dayang and Jaks to my Miss Universe stocks (fair competition).
I did not buy Dayang, I bought Jaks instead.
No one can sell either Dayang and Jaks until 31/8/2021. This cut off date is used to calculate the net profit made to determine who is the winner. I think we use cut off date on 31/8/2021 is a better measurement since Mr Koon is very bullish on Dayang until 2021. I am also very bullish on Jaks due to power plant in Vietnam in 2021.
I will keep track on these 2 stocks to monitor the performance, I like to see who will win in this competition.
No point keep on attacking me, I have my own strategy to choose the stock which I like most.
Let time tells us who selects better stock, who will win in this competition.
