MFCB Don Sahong power plant is only 260MW but is already taking MFCB to new highs everyday since half a year ago. If that is not a wake up call, i don't know how to wake you up.

My comment
MFCB owns 80% of Don Sahong power plant which is only 260MW. The actual power plant is 260MW*0.8 = 208MW.
The target price of MFCB recommended by Public Investment Bank is 5.75.

Jaks owns 30% of Hai Duong power plant which is 1,200MW. The actual power plant is 1,200MW*0.3 = 360MW.
The power plant of Jaks is still bigger than MFCB, no reason the share price of Jaks is only 1.31.

Please note that the Evolve Concept Mall of Jaks is valued at RM300 million, I had totally ignored the asset of Malaysian operations, I want to focus on the power plant in Vietnam alone.
Buying Jaks at 1.31 cannot be very far wrong, I am only talking on the power plant of Jaks in Vietnam alone.

The license was given to JAKS.

Ans :
The agreement is signed between Vietnam government and Jaks.
Hence there is no way CPECC does not give any money to Jaks.
Jaks is the main contractor, CPECC is the sub-contractor.
CPECC has to give 440 million profit to Jaks for subcontract the construction work of this power plant.
I had spoken to Andy Ang, I know how strong is his connection in Vietnam.
There is no way for anyone to take this power plant away from Andy Ang.
This power plant belongs to Andy Ang or Jaks.

The share price of Jaks had crossed 1.29 to close at 1.30 today.
This is a good news to me.
Next resistance is 1.39 and 1.43 respectively.

As long as the Malaysian operations do not lose big money, the EPS can be higher than 0.48.

This stock is very illiquid and paid up capital is small.

YTL Power International is Malaysia's first Independent Power Producer (IPP). In 1993, our wholly-owned subsidiary, YTL Power Generation Sdn Bhd, was awarded Malaysia's first IPP licence for the Paka and Pasir Gudang Power Stations following the Malaysian Government's decision to privatise the country's power industry.

The Paka and Pasir Gudang Power Stations utilise combined cycle gas turbine technology and have a combined generation capacity of 1,212 MW. YTL raised RM2.66 billion to finance the project, the largest private, Ringgit-denominated funding at that time. The project's financing solution which was critical to its success also included the first long-dated bond issue for a greenfield project (RM1.5 billion) which was fully subscribed by the Employees Provident Fund (EPF).

YTLPower listed in May 1995 around 0.70, the share price dropped to 0.21 in August 1998. Once Its IPP starts to sell electricity to TNB, the share price of YTLPower skyrocketed up the roof to 1.66 in Dec 2007.
The share price of YTLpower went up 790%.

Free cash flow of Jaks will improve after 2020/1 onward.

YTLpower was having the same problem when IPP was completed.
YTLpower is cash rich after selling electricity.
No bad debt and solid cash after selling electricity.

The Vietnam IPP power plant the machine itself has no problems it will operate n generate electricity as it is built for.
I was told 80% to 90% of the major power plants in China were built by CPECC.

There is no sure win in stock market, need to do your homework.
Look at the trend of MFCB, I think Jaks will follow the same trend.
Always use the excess money to invest in stock market.
