The conversion of ARBB-PA to ARBB is definitely welcome by the company as it brings in 19 sen working capital for every 1 ARBB share issued, but for the shareholders, it has dilutive effect as the NTA of ARBB is 40 sens.

1 share of ARBB-PA is now 17 sen, top it up with 19 sen, you will get 36 sen, That is the main reason why the share price is stucked at current level when an active conversion is taking place.

Someone mentioned EPF is selling public bank?
On the 3rd February announcement by EPF for shares traded on 27th January, it was reported to have 15% of Public Bank.
On the 10th February, today"s announcement, corresponding date of transaction was 5th February, EPF turn out to own 15.4% of Public Bank.
Through all those numerous transactions, of that few market days, EPF seems to be collecting Public Bank to the tune of 0.4%.
Between 27th January to 5th February, total number of public bank shares traded was 267.16m cumulatively, the 0.4% translated to 77.6m shares of public bank, and that is 29% of the total number of shares traded.

what you say is only partly true, your concept of investment base on surprises is only a very small random part on why people buy certain shares and hold for long term. So if you expect Supermax to make 1.2 or 1.3 billion for the next 2 quarters should signify a sell ? Are you asking people to sell a share at 6.80, and yet the company makes roughly RM1.50 a share per year ? Even if Supermax half its profit in 2022 or 2023, it is still a worthwhile investment.
