These clauses are not new. They have manifested into unwritten law. These Singapore companies treat Malaysian workforce like sanitary pad..Pakai buang. The clauses are designed to enrich themselves. Plant a mole in these companies and get a copy of their appointment letter and you will discover illegal deduction, penalties and restrictive clauses. This is rampant especially in MSC companies and call centers.

this is actually malaysia's revenge against Grab for migrating their biz from malaysia to singapore.
Airasia fine by MyCC mana got so high one? Only a couple of millions.
But this Grab fine is REVENGE!

Drivers can do service promoting? Should grab drivers promote service from other car hailing its like should public bank workers promote Maybank services?

That is not the real reason. Real reason is taxi companies bosses are behind this move. Their "loan shark" method of operating taxis are not profitable anymore.
