更换官车的理由毕竟有点牵强，也不是什么大事。面对这样的批评而仓促之间应对失策才是大事。宰相肚里能撑船，大可直言自己思虑有欠周到，不必遮掩。公道自在人心。若说没有公道，火箭就不会不会在近年来节节胜利。郑丁贤批评得没有错，不能为了恶小而为之，然而我也相信他不敢如此批评首相。只是，要求他如此批评首相的过失也是不合理。为什么呢？应为水至清无鱼，如此要求等同包公再世，我们不能要求别人为了公义而死，区区一个编辑在马来西亚若有如此胆量，铁窗首长的人选未免太也激烈。这两个人在履行自己的职务都已非常努力，为了一言之争而两败俱伤是我这个旁观者所不愿的。
