And Large holdings are in East Malaysia, Indonesia, Canada & other parts of world.

And most palm Oil & rubber trees grow on hill ground & hill slopes away from rivers.

With the management, I think no way.
On the ground, so many leakage such as fertilizer n etc. with currency oil palm price, margin already so low.

These are the dividends for

2013 - 14 cents

2014 - 16 cents

Projected dividend for year 2015 - 16 cents.

So 7% to 8% dividend still better than Bank FD at 3.5%

FGV has Cash Hoard over RM1.35

Remember it also has Sugar, Rubber, Canola & Soybean all over the world.

Highest price was RM5.55. Now RM2.13. Discount from peak 62%.

All the Bad News Have Hammered FGV to this low undemanding level.

Commodities have crashed and will take years to recover. Also with worldwide deflation on the cards, it will be unwise to invest in commodities. It will be a good idea to look up on the effects of deflation and plan your investments accordingly. Deflation can be considered a once in a lifetime experience. Think of 1929 and its effects. However, this time around, the USD will be the currency of choice - sorry Leno.
