There is a cut loss level to get out. Everyone is aware.

Do not forget the disaster in supporting Hengyuan all the way from $ 19 to $12 presently.

Ans : Buy at 5.95, sold off at 17.50. Buy back at 16.64 and 12.52. Use profit to invest in Hengyuan only.
There is a rule to say that you can invest only 50% of previous holding (profit protection rule).

Please get your facts right. The above is the correct information discussed.

Your view on Masteel is incorrect. You have not done your homework correctly prior to presenting your opinion.

1. Masteel’s QoQ operational earnings did not drop by 70% as you claimed. All you had to do was to look at Masteel’s 30/9/17 quarterly report and you will clearly see that there was a gain of RM20.6m arising from reversal of deferred taxation. Hence, operationally, the profit for that quarter was actually RM18.1m, and not RM38.7m (accounting profit).

2. A fall in steel price may actually be good for Masteel. After all, steel is it’s main raw material. A drop in global steel demand (if any) may also further reduce prices of consumables such as metallurgical coke. There is no worry about China or anyone else dumping their steel onto Malaysia as being quicker than the Americans, our government had already imposed similar import tariffs in 2017 to protect our local steel industry. If you are not aware of this, you have no place commenting about Masteel.

I find your article highly inaccurate and very irresponsible as you write without substance and facts. As you yourself said, investments involve investors’ hard earned money. If you truly understand this point, then why are you writing untruths and lies?

Not compare Q4 2017 against Q3 2017.

The most important part in long bars is China long bars price, currently is around rmb4200 is on uptrend after CNY construction resume and winter steel production reduction is extended ( like Tangshan city, major production city) if attractive enough for Alliance Steel to export, Alliance capacity is a less worry, just m2c

This author is revealing half-truth. Regulated short selling is allowed in Malaysia. Besides, although there are vested interests in those promoting steel sector, there are equally vested interest in those who called others to sell in order for them to collect at lower price. This is due to the fact that long term investors are not willing to release their shares to these new collectors

brightsmart, i have not performed any short selling as i am not eligible. But certain institution and licensed individuals do. Bursa Malaysia website clearly displays this information and the short selling regulation will be relaxed to all individuals soon subject to approval.

I agree that G Soros is smart and bright, but I highly doubt whether you are even half as bright and smart as him. No offence but just my 2 cents
