u know why they target ICERD? Bcoz it actually complement their usual politically strategy which is race and religion. These 2 are good tools for politician to herd voters which are inclined to certain extrimism or having tendency to move towards that path.

This is what i was talking about the reset button, the reset button gave a chance to be something diff , to be better or worse. The better factor is there, while it exist but it also created another force, unseen before. After the destruction of BN, UMNO now very desperate and with MCA now seen may leave BN, is highly likely UMNO will form a coalition or cooperate in some way, where the theme of this coalition isn't about multiracial, could be more towards extremism. Even if MCA doesnt leave BN, very likely ppl in UMNO would want to boot MCA out bcoz they want to cooperate with PAS. That is why I say the reset button. Currently is bcoz both side are very desperate especially UMNO. But to say they will form a coalition is quite hard to say bcoz UMNO always play big brother, want the lion share of the pie BUT PAS isn't one willing to back down on its demand. So like this, is it possible to form a sincere coalition or is just an insincere one?

there's fundamental issue in the system itself, unless the govt rectified the edu sys, there's going to be big trouble. Why is it PAS can entrenched itself in the north? Bcoz the system itself is providing the manpower for recruitment.

theoretically, as a country progress into the modern era, ppl get better education, religion type of parties by right followers should decline, but you see the religion type didn't decrease. So why?
