I do not have any political ambition but I view myself as true Malaysian in heart and soul. As Malaysian I do love our beloved Malaysia and if you ask me what I want for Malaysia? I will say:

1. A truly mature democracy where two truly capable parties competing with each other on merit and idea to govern this country.

2. A JUST society where his entire citizen will have the opportunity to truly realise his/her full potential. And the weaker one given assistant and support to at least able to live a decent life.

3. A truly confident and competitive Malaysian that can take on the best of the best globally.

4. A religion practices in moderation that promote acquired all type of worthy knowledge that will enhance our value system beyond the narrow interpretation of religion dogmatism.

5. A Malaysia that truly embrace and celebrate our diversity where different ethnicity, religions and cultures live in peace and harmony with mutual understanding, respect and acceptance.

6. An open and color blind society where issues can be debate constructively on its merit and demerit without fear and favor.

7. Lastly a government that is Clean, Honest, Responsible, Competent, Just and respecting our diverse multi-ethnic, multi-religious, multi-cultural and multi-lingual heritage.

Is that too much to ask for?

Dear amzarb44,
There are not such things as equality because human are born with different talent, capability and to different parents background. Thus Malaysia is blessed with strength of diversity.

The socialist system failed because if you apply total equality (equal pay) to all then no one have incentive to work hard resulting in total economic collapse.

Similarly Capitalist system failed if you apply equal opportunity to all when the rich already dominate all the resources thus the rich will become richer and poor poorer. (Hong Kong society)

As of Malaysia what we need is need based policy and not another race based policy where the BOSSES are the only one benefitted from such policy.
Help the B40 irrespective of race.

The losses of alot of many malay instuition come from people, who do not dare question the wastage and abuse like 1mdb Rm 50b, tabung haji Rm 10.3b, Felda Rm 5b, LTAT Rm 3b, MARA Rm 5b, MAS 10b, Proton Rm 20b all these are wastage and abuses bcos people don dare to question, as a result it go out of control loh..!!

U look how prudent how TAR education is manage, the BN govt just give a very small allocation compare to MARA during BN rule.
TAR University and college still have Rm 500m cash in the bank at the end of BN govt rule loh..!!

Yes msia maybe rich in resources, but the way it is going & manage with abuse, wastage and corruptions, msia is going to the Burma and Phillipine historical route loh...!!

Do u know 60 years ago burma and phillipine are 2 of the richest nation in south east asia ??

Remember monies do not fall from the sky, just shake leg and be greedy and shout and abuse to get a big share of the allocation and deprive and discriminate others will not sustain malaysia too far going forward loh..!!

@amzarb44 Allow me to take one example of failure of race base rule by the BN which is not very clear like the mega corruption scandal. The famous MARA, champion of high Malay learning center. Today do the Malay proud of having MARA degree ? instead, a fake Cambridge degree is more respectable.

The MARA are closing door not only to other race but they are closing door to all the intellectual, talent and professionalism. There are no push and pull factors for improvement.

If you look at Cambrige University, the lecturers are professionals from all over the world, asian, European and british. Likewise the students are from all over the world and they are excess to the forefront of the world knowledge.

Only by the unselfishness of a race or a community or a nation then in return people will share and prosper. Unfortunately our Malaysian politician don't look at this angle as they are more concern of gathering support and win in the election.

Azmin wants Harapan to back Dr M, Wong Chen says PM must accept blame

Acknowledging the results of the Tanjung Piai by-election as a resounding wake-up call by the rakyat to Pakatan Harapan, PKR deputy president Azmin Ali has nonetheless called on the coalition members to rally behind the leadership of Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

"This is not the time for members and leaders of Pakatan Harapan to take
potshots at one another or take advantage of the situation to challenge the coalition’s leadership.

"Any attacks on the leadership will only continue to weaken Harapan and its effectiveness in governing the country. This is the time to unite our strengths and face this new reality together," Azmin (above) said in a statement today.

This was in response to the victory by MCA's Wee Jeck Seng, who wrested the Tanjung Piai parliamentary seat from Harapan with a whopping 15,086-vote majority.

"I urge every member and leader of Harapan to continue to give
our undivided support to Mahathir, Prime Minister of Malaysia
and chairperson of Pakatan Harapan, to continue to lead the country and the coalition," said Azmin, who is also Economic Affairs Minister.

Despite being in PKR, Azmin is now seen close to Mahathir than to the prime minister's designated successor and PKR president Anwar Ibrahim.
