younsters need to be independent in thinking out what is best for them rather than blindly follow their friends to gain acceptance. That's why majority of people are poor.

"speakup to youngsters, an expensive IPhone & Honda/Toyota is more worth it than buy house"

Not sure why you are hung up with youngsters having iphone or cars. It is their money and their priority.

Do you know that employers require employees to have phone? The greed of employers is so condescending that they want to breathe down on their employee every second. They require proof and instant communication when contacted. All this for mere RM1 or 2K salary.

House prices have gone beyond affordability. To buy the cheapest house today one has to earn minimum RM5K in order to secure a loan. How many employers are willing to pay RM5K? Even RM1100 as minimum they are crying through their butt.

Youngster today are in a challenging environment. The working environment is no more steady as it was before. All jobs today have gone on contract basis. Which bank will provide loan if they are not employed permanently. The most important point is job security is gone.

Step down from you high horse. Come out from your glass house and mingle with the public to understand their problem.

The illustration above never takes into account personal or emergency expenses. It is typical insurance salesman's pitch who never cares about prospects commitments. Some commitments are very personal. Some may be the only breadwinner supporting the whole family. All these considerations are thrown into the wind. It is selfish salesman's article which lacks compassion.
