NIISSe 1.6bil isnt expensive project.. in fact is way too cheap to deliver... Can the co sustain if it continue with it? No wonder it decided to sell to a private co.

But can our sensitive data falls under a control of a private company? Does the small company has what it takes to ensure full security controls and measures enforced and implemented to ensure data safety?

From the attachment of above link, info summarize for IITS as below:-

- As at the date of SSA, the total issued and paid-up shares capital of IITS is Six Million (6,000,000-00) ordinary shares and Ringgit Malaysia Six Million (RM6,000,000-00) respectively.

- the net profits attributable to the Company and net assets value are RM0.48 million and RM37.50 million respectively.

- As at the date of SSA, the Company had advanced a total amount of Ringgit Malaysia Thirty Three Million Four Hundred Four Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty Nine And Sen Fifty Three (RM33,404,859.53) only to the IITS as Shareholder’s Advances, which forms a debt owing by IITS to the Company.

- Upon completion of the Proposed Disposal, the Company is expected to realize a gain of RM7.22 million in the financial year ending 31 March 2024.

Based on the above details, just monetize investment in IITS which is 'draining' cash flow with still 20% ownership and RM7.22 million gain. Other than that, it will most likely supply manpower to support IITS projects…up or down will be control by Mr Market, Happy Trading and TradeAtYourOwnRisk.

iris got about rm100mil net cash in bank
after sale, +rm70mil, net cash in increase to rm170mil which is about 5sen/share!

Based on my past experience in putra jaya contractors will be asked t submit a number of documents comprising of finance,technical capability,organisations & structure,human resources,safety policy, procurement capability,bank guarantee s ,most important its price estimate for the project.Securing a contract is no easy task as we look into various factors after RFP,clarifications due process done.After that we rank them according to their performance based submission.
In a nutshell i tend to agree that the award to iris was via proper process no hanky panky or,pushovers,knowing very well on iris experience, technical capabilities before.
Currently MACC is investigating the case n if they found out that iris price is reasonable compounded by past tech.experience notably its past passport jobs then no reason iris is involved in those allegations.

Hi @Peace99, I am also wondering how this RM7.22 mil projected profit calculated as book value and expenses won't be known until a certain cutoff date?? I presume this RM70 mil minus all the known obligation and book value will be the projected profit; bear in mind the Shareholder’s Advances of RM33,404,859.53 shall be waived and/or written off in two (2) stages subject to and only if payments towards the Disposal Consideration are made by the Purchaser to the Company. Therefore it seems NOT a clean RM70 mil cash into account balance sheet?? All these details can be found in the announcement attachment..

may end up in red if any delayed and cost overrun

at the start of project, can forecast big profit but reality is at the end of contract...
