KUALA LUMPUR: A shouting match erupted in the Dewan Rakyat when the son-in-law of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and ongoing probe into the National Integrated Immigration System (NIISe) project were raised during debates.

The incident was sparked when Khoo Poay Tiong (PH-Kota Melaka) mentioned that there were recent newspaper reports claiming that "Pagoh" (Muhyiddin's parliamentary constituency) had awarded the NIISe contract to his son-in-law.

"The salient terms of the SSA are set out as below:

The Company shall at the request of the Purchaser grant in favour of the Purchaser an extension of three (3) months from the expiry of the Tranche 2 Payment and Tranche 3 Payment respectively, subject to a late payment interest of five per centum (5%) per annum calculated on a day to day basis from the day immediately following the last day of the Tranche 2 Payment/Tranche 3 Payment until actual full payment thereof."
