It remains to be seen if the dust has finally settled down or not in the Board room. If the Board room is peaceful, every thing prospers otherwise every thing is a stumbling block to investors .

Recently, it is learnt that " some proxy " has challenged the legality of gold mining in Tawau and the said news has made headlines in the local press. The heat is still on where their agenda is to undermine the operation and to rock the Board fast and furious.

This " Lee " is said to have more than 15 years international business experience and has been actively involved in business development/marketing, quality control and cost management . He is said to to be involved in project management in and is responsible for the management, business development, cost control, and growth of Malaysian companies such as UF Engineers Sdn Bhd, a Company involved in major public utilities infrastructure such as highways, Onika Quarry Sdn Bhd , a Company operating quarries in Tawau and Semporna and Leeka Holdings Sdn.

He is a local guy in Tawau where FC is need of him to keep an eye on the gold mining business there. Whether you like him or not as a new substantial shareholder is subjective. It remains to be seen how he could turn it around.

@joyvest... This 'Lee' guy remained a substantial shareholder... despite his credentials as tabulated. Freddie together with his more sophisticated mining machines are doing a great job in turning BV around... in less than 6 months. Of course expect lower output during this monsoon period...

With current gold price, Bahvest is the cheapest miner around with still a big swathe of land to mine. At this attractive price we will probably see another big player getting into the game besides Lee Van Cliff and Kretam Asssasin in the near future.
