@Adstey .. interesting figures Myr1.20 per share according to your calculation. To support your argument that 75sen is really low, the ESOS exercise price is 75sen too !! No reason any staff should take up the ESOS if the market price is languishing at 74/75 sen.
Conclusion, price is badly beaten down, right ??

prudent i agree with u that price is badly beaten down by the operator, it doesnt make sense ESOS exercise price is 75 cents last month and now the price is lower than 75 cents, In other words this company make those staff lose money ? my understanding is they should push up the price after ESOS to help the staff earn some bonus

in malaysia there is no way to apply for mgo exemption, these spore crooks know very well mgo cannot be granted and press down the price to buy at low those remaining shares not under their control. we dont know until today what is the % of control in their concerted parties hand. they will pick up to the maximum. this counter if nobody defence the price, it will slide downwards no matter how fundamental the figures.

Sundae, MGO means Mandatory General Offer. I think the threshold is 75%. If I can remember correctly in late 90's MRCB got exemption on MGO for its purchase of RHB.

MGO whether good or bad depends on the price offered vs current price. Normally, in any exercise, be it MGO or whatever, proposals need shareholders' approval first before it's firmed up. After that, the ex-price is determined by the normally 5-day share price action.

If the company is growing and is listed and there are projects in the pipeline, it makes no sense to do an MGO. MGO is akin to taking the company private. Peter Lim will milk the cow until kingdom comes before he ever decides to make an MGO.
