It's not easy nowadays for Oz migrations as in the 80s or 90s. There are may ways to obtain legal papers and PR as in Business and Professional migration apart from Investment/property one. But if there are relatives over there, you can score more migration points. Age is also a factor. Below 40 is good and below 30 is even better.

You mentioned freelance, so not sure if you are Professionally and academically qualified.

Gone are those days of backpackers and fruits farm workers illegal workers. It's too risky and some don't get their full pay.

Getting employment before going over is ideal of course and some form of special skill would be required.

Someone told me that the easier way is also to buy into a small business, like bookstores, groceries and hardware shops, might not make any profits but they maintain it for the required duration of 2 years to get PR. And a few hundred thousand ringgit at least.

Oz is a very nice and personally, considered a better place to retire. Their culture and govt assist is based on White & Asian combined. But to make a living, it's not so easy and also require a lot of capital. (we switched at a time of AUD1 = RM2.70) For property and business migration, at least AUD1 million is the baseline.

One colleague tried another way which was through NZ. He paid some 30K for NZ migration, got it and obtained a PR for him and his entire family. Then he can travel Oz & NZ and after 3 years, applied Aussie PR too.

I don't know what more to add since I'm not sure of your personal standings and what is your target. Don't hope or wish for things which may not be within reach. The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence.

Moreover, it is most difficult at Bursa as compared to several others.

EPF reducing the shareholdings in MYEG.

They wanted to get the high price so the contributors/savers will have a better profit.
As long you are the saver from EPF, one can say that EPF is using your funds to trade/invest/speculate competitively in the BURSA/KLSE side by side against you who are also trying to get the high price before.

One can not say that "my funds in the EPF is invest in the bank stock only" or "I had wished/preferred that my money be invested by EPF in some IT stock."

One can not choose ...like "I wanted my money contributed to the House of God be used for the salary of the Pastor instead of the cleaner of the building" because of the idea that money covering the Pastors will bring more rewards in Heaven, in the world to come.

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 14): The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has ceased to be a substantial shareholder of MyEG Services Bhd after it sold 39.05 million shares, the company’s filing with Bursa Malaysia shows.

The shares were sold on Feb 10. However, the transaction price was not disclosed in the filing.

KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 14): Asia Internet Holdings Bhd, the largest single shareholder in MyEG Services Bhd, bought some 83.25 million shares, or 8.811% stake, in point-of-sale system provider Cuscapi Bhd.

Asia Internet bought the block of shares via the direct business transaction on Feb 10, according to the company’s filing to Bursa Malaysia. It is not known from whom Asia Internet bought the shares.

Coincidentally, Radio Port Ltd — an offshore company — sold out its 6.02% stake, or 56.9 million shares, in Cuscapi, a separate filing to the exchange showed.

Asia Internet is a private vehicle of MyEG’s managing director Wong Thean Soon, better known as TS Wong. He emerged as a Cuscapi shareholder in 2019.

Wong currently holds a direct stake of 13.209% in Cuscapi and an indirect stake of 8.111% through Asia Internet, making him the biggest shareholder holding direct and indirect stake of 21.32%.

The other substantial shareholders are Ultimate Quality Success, holding a 14.55% stake; and Cuscapi’s executive chairman Jayakumar Panneer Selvam, with a 7.44% stake.

Cuscapi’s share price closed 0.5 sen higher at 22 sen on Tuesday (Feb 14), translating into a market capitalisation of RM207.87 million.

I remember the EPF exit Pentamaster just because it is no more shariah compliance. But in the end, look at Pentamaster now. More stronger.
