We initiate coverage on Kelington Group Bhd with a target price of RM0.55. We pegged our target price at 11x 2015F PE (with EPS of 5 sen) which is +0.5 standard deviation above its historical mean. We envisage the Group is back in business with its strong earnings rebound this year backed by promising semiconductor and healthcare industries outlook which lead to more new jobs win. Fundamentally, we like Kelington’s unique business model which is a provider of Ultra High Purity (UPH) gas and chemical delivery solutions in the region that is not well represented in any companies listed under Bursa Malaysia. We also impressed by its strong presence in overseas, managed to secure sizeable contracts in competitive markets such as China, Taiwan and Singapore.

Let me answer your quest on behalf of Firebird2.

EPS Q1 - 1.29 cents (from revenue 53m)
EPS Q2 - 1.03 cents (from revenue 43m)

Based on 2014 Annual Report, company said they have at least 273m worth project on hand (up to April 2014). By deduct Q1 & Q2 revenue, they still have approximately 100m~150m (just let say delay of project).

So, the remaining value can at least bring them to whole year EPS 4.0 cents. Based on PE 15, it should worth RM 0.60.

You do know your stuff well. I am quite sure there are plenty of investors who are accumulating without making a fuss.
Quantitatively, Inspira has spelled that out well.
I think one has to look at some of its intangible assests as well. The management did well by switching to being relying on just semiconductors industry for its business, and have now diversified into other industry. For long term investors, if you buy now, you are getting in at a very low level. Once the company start making headways into its business, the price will rise multifold.

1.29 (Q1) + 1.03(Q2) +0.96 (Q3) +1.03 ( forecast) = 4.31 EPS
calculation with PE 13 , it should be target price 0.56 .
33.3% upside from price now.

Target price will be revise if more contract will be announce.

Weird company business model....margins even thinner than trading companies. In hard times, KGB could be first to take losses. That's probably why investors are dumping and not picking up this counter. Too bad. All it needs to do is to build upstream, or acquire simple but higher margin businesses.
