It's ludicrous that bank has segregation of halal n non halal cheques as seen recently. Are we back to. Caveman? The largest non halal company is Genting yet its Chairman is Muslim ex IPG Haniff who receives billions of casino monies. There is no meaning in it.

To be fair the non-halal and halal cheque issue has been clarified. In any case, i am a firm believer that state and religion should be separated but I also know it would not happen here or anytime in the near future.
