Previous quarter EPS was 7 cents. Laster quarter could be slightly higher. Based on past record, this tie dividend likely 7-8 cents, unless special dividend issued.

Well if PBB is gonna do a PBB which means payout dividend of about 50% of their earnings, then it'll will need to do exceptionally well for this final quarter (north of EPS 8.0 cents) to beat the previous interim dividend of 7.50cents. Let's wait and see.

Let the momentum of the stock market grow from strength to strength especially the banking stocks which are the barometer of the economy. Let the CI Index break through the !600 level which is watershed for takeoff to higher levels platform. Indeed this is the time for announcement of oorporate results n dividends n the bountiful liquidity in the market augurs well for the stock market.

Foreign interest back in Bursa
Wednesday, 16 Feb 2022

Foreign investors returned buying over RM1bil worth of shares so far this year with little local activity in 2021.

Buying of banking stocks has
lifted finance index up 5.7% since start of year.
In comparison, FBM KLCI is up 2.05% so far this year.

“This helped raise foreign investors’ year-to-date
net buys of Malaysian equities to RM1.05bil, with
their top three net buy stocks last week being
Public Bank Bhd and others,” CGS-CIMB told
its clients in a report.
