Both bjtoto and magnum also down significantly. I think these could be due to rise in electricity, toll rate hike, transport fair hike etc all will erode consumer spending power, leading to cut discretionary items like NFO to reduce impact.

Bjtoto is not suitable for short term trading since there is not enough volatility in price compared to other speculative stocks. It is more suitable for long term 'Buy & Hold' strategy to collect dividends.

Bjtoto pays dividends every qtr whereas Latitud only once every year.Besides it would be more accurate to compare companies in the same industry i.e Bjtoto vs Magnum,Latitude vs Homeriz or Maybank vs CIMB.

the price hike was because of the share buy back announcement made by BJTOTO.... really kinda sick of this mgmt. If you ever notice, Robin Tan, CEO of TOTO has acquired shares of TOTO at price 3.88 and it was few days ago. I think they purposely pressed the price down for Robin acquisition and share buy back to stabilize the price. kinda sick of this mgmt. sighzzzz

Share buy back 2 lift share price then sell 4 profit. They've been doing this repeatedly 4 long time. Tats way share price howers between 4 - 4.40 There's no hope 4 growth but dividen. 7% deviden, 4 me no complaint.

For FY13, EPS=29.43sen, DPS=28sen, at RM4, PER=13.6x, divd yield=7%.
PER of 13.6x is not high for high dividend stock.

Bjtoto share is stable now after aggressive support from VT and Robin Tan as well as share buyback. With year end coming, windrow dressing may push up Bjtoto back to 4.20
