it's not feasible to have Proton 2.0...so it wouldn't happen. Cannot compete with Quality and Price, if you check social media about 80% is making noise on it already. SO It wouldn't happen, unless the PH = BN 2.0. the only difference is the spokeperson and the logo.

DRB with 49% China ownership? and with availability of Swiss n Germany auto technologies and lastest China green car know how is no easy push over.
