MRCB: Still in talks with government on EDL concession termination. Negotiations between the government and Malaysian Resources Corp (MRCB) on the termination of Johor Bahru Eastern Dispersal Link’s (EDL) concession is still ongoing, although it has stopped collecting the RM6.80 per trip toll since the start of the year. Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) Director-General Datuk Ismail Md Salleh said recently that the Ministry of Finance is still in discussions with the highway concessionaire on terms of the mutual termination agreement. When contacted, MRCB declined to respond to queries, saying the parties are still in negotiation. A key issue involving the negotiation will be the large amount of debt the concession holders has on its books due to the EDL, which constitutes about 26% of the group’s total debt of RM3.9bn as at Sept 30, 2017, a drag on its financials. 1) The maturity date of Econbhd is 2023 whereas Mrcb Wb is 2027 (Extra 4 years lifespan)

2) Ecobhd is private while Mrcb is Govt linked

3) THIS YEAR BEING GE14 ELECTION YEAR THERE IS AN ADDED BOOSTER FOR MRCB IN PARTICULAR.

So Market has given a higher rating for MRCB's Bullishness than Econbhd's.

Pm Najib gone to Saudi Arabia for 5 days to secure rm28 Billions for Petronas Rapid.

Another 2 days in Singapore to launch RAPID TRANSIT SERVICE MRT FROM SPORE WOODLAND TO BKT CHAGAR JOHOR.

SO AFTER THAT WILL COME PAYMENT FOR EDL....

AS NEWS NOT YET OUT AND PEOPLE ARE UNAWARE JUST HOLD TIGHT.

I already got Wb. So I bought C26 (lifespan till June)

And since I AM SOOOOO BULLISH ON MRCB GOING TO RM1.80 & RM2.50 JUST LIKE DRB DID LAST YEAR I switched Mother to out of money WA!!

Since people are SOOO NEGATIVE ON WA ( I SAPU A LOT!!!) WA lifespan ends longer than C26 till September 2018

I think before September 2018 MRCB mother would have crossed Rm1.80

This is Calvin's assumption. Don't need to follow. Please study yourself & invest carefully

HOPE ALL STAY SAFE & FIND THAT POT OF GOLD AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW (POLLING DAY)

Other catalysts include :-
Disposal of Bukit Jalil TOD land to EPF FOR RM1.14B cash
Disposal of Setepak land to T. Haji for RM137M cash
Disposal of Menara Celcom for RM680M cash
Disposal of Ascott
Etc
Big RM CASH coming in
Big disposal gains to be credited to profit account
Significant normal profit increase due to improved profit margins resulting from reduction in its borrowings interest expenses
Increasing PDP fees for all its TOD coming up (big jump if its J/V PDP bid with Gamuda is successful)

Very good prospects for MRCB GOING FORWARD
(HENCE THERE ARE MANY MANY GOOD NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS COMING IN ADDITION TO THE DISPOSAL OF EDL)
