22% increase in profit before tax compared to the preceding quarter ended 30 June 2023.

The lower revenue recorded in 3rd Quarter due to 100% completion of TRIA 9 Seputeh project in Nay 2023.

The higher profit before taxation was due to a higher contribution from the LRT3 project.

The engineering, construction & environment division recorded a 20% decrease in revenue to RM1.33bil and a 43% increase in profits to RM87.6mil in the nine months ended Sept 30.

The division’s long-term external client order book was RM26.1bil, with an unbilled portion of RM16.1bil as of Sept 30.

Profit down/less doesn’t mean loss la…it’s for funding the completion of 3 major infrastructure construction projects last year and 2 major property development projects in 1HFY23..profitable and sustainable company planning and subject to be the excellent management 👍👍👍💪💪💪⬆️✅

Meanwhile, for the engineering, construction and environment division, the open tenderbook currently stands at RM30 billion, which only includes project values that have yet to be finalised, such as the Shah Alam Stadium rebuilding project and the proposed redevelopment of the KL Sentral station.
As of end-Sept, MRCB’s external client order book stood at RM26.1 billion, while the unbilled portion was RM16.1 billion.
“This long-term order book will provide the division with a steady flow of construction contracts to sustain its business over the long term, including the LRT3 rail project, the first phase of which is due to be completed at the end of 2024,” it said.

Little JohnnyChew, what are you chewing in your mouth? It must be sai. Still have the gut to belittle RHB-OSK. Only an empty vessel/tin kosong would do this. Unfortunately, no one has any faith in you and prefer to trust the IBs more. MRCB has gone up from 30 sen at the beginning of the year to 43 sen today or up by more than 40%. More than half of my fund is invested in Maybank and RHB Bank. Only a fool would think that I suffer losses so far this year. Empty vessels would announce to the whole world after making some money. Those who have made a lot would keep quiet.
