I am not sure how you guys would value gloves. Most of the gloves are exported to countries that needs them and cases are increasing everyday. Besides theirnorders are fully booked until next year. That means they will remain profitable until 2021. You guys must be some kind of amateur that would predict glove counters based on a day's covid case. It goes to show most of you are just punters. Contra kakis. Not real investors.

Many rumours spreading that vaccination be ready by end of the year. Experience medical professionals expect longer periods of confirmation. Three four years is yet to believe and everyone praying hard vaccination shall save lives. In the meantime, what is the preventive measures need to observe? Protect with social distance, wash hands often, gloves and mask etc. The big points how long does it take to observe proper care to avoid infections.. The gloves manufactured are not meant for covid19 but it happened and the method to protect include gloves and the demand is worldwide waiting for the orders, no jump cue while in some cases orders with upfront and insufficient to cater for the demand beyond July 2021..We are not bothered so much of the prices we are more concerned the urgency is met as soon as possible and less attention of making money more but unfortunately the demand is overwhelming and all factories work 24 hours to worry more about saving the lives of the world. Glove is not oversupply la. For hospital SOP after see 1 patient, need to change glove for prevention. Hospital SOP.Barber shop oso same.even got rumour vaccine will be available soon, u think Malaysia will get it? No. The vaccine is for their own country for frontlines. For kids need to 2 years for safety protocol.vaccine also need WHO to recognise then can mass produce to other countries. Check with professionals to get news. @gemfinder What type of mask? Normal mask sure lah, anyone with small capital can set up a factory to produce them. N95 mask got oversupply or not? N95 mask harder to make and requires certification.

Gloves also the same, medical gloves where got easy to make, plus, even normal gloves not so easy to make, even if you have billions, it will take months to set up the factory. That is why gloves' prices went up. Face shield, PPE and etc all can do it within weeks, anyone with sewing machine or 3D printer can do it... gloves where can, medical gloves even harder.

Small pox.

For now, i think holding gloves have nothing to worry.
But still have observe carefully for the pattern/trend
COVID started in China around Dec. They get it control around May. (around 6 months)
Italy on Feb. They get it almost under control now. (possibly another one or tewo month for it to drop to double digit)
US on March. Now the daily cases in UK is dropping despite the riot. If by Sept, the cases are under control. (previously used to be more than 30k per day)
May be can say it take about 6 months to induce herd immunity.
But I'm not the expert in the field. I'm just observing the daily cases trend.

If cost for the glove manufacturer was RM10 per box (100pcs.)

In Feb 2020 If ex-factory price RM12 Profit is RM2 per box
In Jun 2020 If ex-factory price RM21 Profit is RM11 per box

Profit has gone up 5,5times or 550%.
