As a minor investor,I am excited that Ajinomoto is going to open new factory to do new product to meet the demand from middle east and south east asia. More importantly, i can see the trend of the muslim population is growing rapidly in the world wide. Ajinomoto has obtained halal certification from Jakim, this is very important for the company to get the trust and confident from muslim to consume its product. Muslim's business is multi billion cake that ajimonoto should not ignore.

invest based on historical data, it is expensive.
if based on future prospect draft by aji CEO, 2.00 EPS by 2020, it is dirt cheap now.
if eps only reach 1.00, at current price, still cheap. time will tell.

i may have bias on AJI as i hold Aji.
i top up little unit each time as limited cash.
Current holding 13400 unit.
if still got available cash + price is right i top up again.
so, for aji case, for me, UP, i untung. Down, i buy again.
Win Win situation + sleep well :)

i must thank Aji a lot as it's the most I've ever made from any counter.

In the past I've had many near misses e.g. United Plantation, Carlesberg, Dutch Lady & Digi where I sold just before they made a vertical take-off.

agree..I do have AJI very long time, just have a few lots but the most stable one so far. Sheldon, we should keep it for a long time is it, accumulated mine at 3.90 and thinking of disposing to gain profit.
