@TheContrarian, yes I do sell when they somewhere near my target price or acheiving their potential. I even sell at loss when the fundamentals of the stock turn negative.

We have to be realistic. LTAT had opportunity to privatise Boustead last year but kept deferring the decision until finally calling it off. I don't have faith in LTAT anymore.

It’s trading half of it asset ratio therefore I expect it can reach up to 1.50 easily next week.

@Thecontrarian, yes, LTAT last minute dropping the privatisation is no good. But we also don't know exactly the reason why they did so. Even without privatisation, I still hold my belief that LTAT and the government will have to restore Bstead in good health . I am in for slightly longer haul than you . Hope you can wish me good luck. Hahaha...

LTAT is a pension fund for soldiers and hold almost 60% of Bstead. Few years back they gave about 16% dividend to its military members contribution when Bstead was giving about 25% dividend. Now LTAT gives only 2.5 - 3.5% dividend and the soldiers are not happy. The government is worried hence the change of CEOs. Now LTAT finds that a big chunk of its fund is invested in one listed company that don't give any dividend is not wise.

NOW IF YOU ARE THE NEW CEO, WHAT DO YOU THINK LTAT WILL DO. PUT EX-GENERALS AS BOD THAT CAN'T DO ANYTHING OR SELL PART OF ITS HOLDINGS TO A THIRD PARTY THAT WILL GENERATE CASH AND INVEST SOMEWHERE THAT WILL GIVE BETTER DIVIDENDS?

The Malaysian market is so bearish ( because of incapable and hopeless government , nasty politicking, poor handling of covid , etc) ! Even the best fundamental and high earning stocks also drifting lower and lower .... That's the irony !

@TheContrarian, Agreed. I started picking up some and look out for more to come in a depressed Malaysian market. Once I cash out out MMC and IJMPLANT I shall have quite a fair bit to spend .
